Judges; Chapter 13 Verse 11-14
The Birth of Samson
11 Manoah got up and followed his wife. When he came to the man, he said, “Are you the man who talked to my wife?”
“I am,” he said.
12 So Manoah asked him, “When your words are fulfilled, what is to be the rule that governs the boy’s life and work?”
13 The angel of the Lord answered, “Your wife must do all that I have told her. 14 She must not eat anything that comes from the grapevine, nor drink any wine or other fermented drink nor eat anything unclean. She must do everything I have commanded her.”
11 منو حہ اٹھا اور اپنی بیوی کے پیچھے چلا جب وہ اس آدمی کے پاس پہونچا تو اس نے کہا ، “کیا تم وہی آدمی ہو جس نے میری بیوی سے باتیں کی تھیں۔ فرشتہ نے کہا ، ہاں! ” وہ میں ہی ہوں
12 منو حہ نے کہا ، “مجھے امید ہے کہ جو تم کہتے ہو وہ ہو گا یہ بتا ؤ کہ وہ بچّہ کیسی زندگی گذ ارے گا ؟ وہ کیا کرے گا ؟ ”
13 خدا وند کے فرشتہ نے منوحہ سے کہا ، “تمہاری بیوی کو وہ سب کر نا چا ہئے جو میں نے اسے کر نے کے لئے کہا ہے۔ 14 اُسے انگور کی بیل پر اُگی ہو ئی چیز نہیں کھا نی چاہئے۔اسے شراب یا کو ئی نشیلی چیز نہیں پینی چاہئے۔ اور اسے کوئی ناپاک غذا نہیں کھا نی چاہئے۔ اُسے وہ سب کر نی چا ہئے جو کر نے کا حکم میں نے اسے دیا ہے۔”
My point of view about above verses
God delivered Israelites into the hands of Philistines for 40 years as they did evil in the eyes of Lord again
The angel of Lord appeared to Manoah’s wife who is barren and childless and told her you will give birth to a son so not drink any fermented drink and stay away from unclean things as the boy is dedicated to God from the womb and will deliver Israel from the hands of Philistines through that boy
God heard Manoah’s prayer and send that man (angel of God) again who appeared to his wife earlier
The angel of Lord told Manoah that your wife must not eat anything that comes from grape wine nor drink any wine or other fermented drink nor eat anything unclean
God has plan to rescue his people from the hands of opreesors - who are opressing God's people for their unfaitfulness towards Him - He also hears prayers as He heard Manoah's prayers to fulfill His will - To fulfill his will - we need to obey His orders
May God give us wisdom to understand His Word and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
