The Ark in Ashdod and Ekron
As the ark of God was entering Ekron, the people of Ekron cried out, “They have brought the ark of the god of Israel around to us to kill us and our people.” 11 So they called together all the rulers of the Philistines and said, “Send the ark of the god of Israel away; let it go back to its own place, or it will kill us and our people.” For death had filled the city with panic; God’s hand was very heavy on it. 12 Those who did not die were afflicted with tumors, and the outcry of the city went up to heaven.
1 عقرون کے لوگوں نے تمام فلسطینی حاکموں کو ایک ساتھ بُلا یا۔ عقرون کے لوگو ں نے حاکموں سے کہا ، “اسرا ئیلی کے خدا کے مقدس صندوق کو اس کی جگہ واپس لے جا ؤ اس سے پہلے کہ یہ ہم کو اور ہمارے لوگو ں کو مار ڈا لے۔”
عقرون کے لوگ بہت ڈرے ہو ئے تھے۔ خدا نے اس جگہ ان کی زندگی بہت سخت کر دی تھی ۔ 12 بہت سے لوگ مر گئے۔ اور جو لوگ مرے نہیں انہیں پھو ڑا پھنسی ہو گئی۔ عقرون کے لوگ بلند آوا ز سے جنت کی طرف پکارنے لگے۔
My point of view about above verses
The God’s hand was heavy on people of Ashdod because of ark of God captured by Philistines - so they send it to other place -
Lord’s hand was heavy against the city of Gath as they moved ark of God from Ashdod, He created panic in city
So they moved ark of God from Gath to Ekon but people of Ekron cried to take away it from land as you brought it here to kill us – Take it to its own place as Lord’s hand was heavy – People were dying and if someone didn't die afflicted with tumors
If God is with you - Do not fear as He fights for you
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
