Samuel Anoints David
The Lord said to Samuel, “How long will you mourn for Saul, since I have rejected him as king over Israel? Fill your horn with oil and be on your way; I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem. I have chosen one of his sons to be king.”
سموئیل کی بیت ا للحم کو روانگی
16 خداوند نے سموئیل سے کہا ، “کب تک تم ساؤل کے لئے رنجیدہ رہو گے ؟ میرے یہ کہنے کے بعد بھی کہ میں ساؤ ل کا اسرا ئیل کا بادشاہ ہو نے سے انکار کرتا ہوں تم اس کے لئے رنجیدہ ہو۔ اپنا سینگ تیل سے بھرو او ر بیت اللحم کو جا ؤ۔ میں تم کو یسّی نامی ایک آدمی کے پاس بھیج رہا ہوں۔ یسی بیت اللحم میں رہتا ہے میں اس کے بیٹوں میں سے ایک کو نیا بادشاہ چُنا ہوں۔”
My point of view about above verses
God became angry with Saul as he did not act fully on the instructions given by God
Wr need to obey God with our heart, mind, soul and body and do not offer him anything from loot
God does not take delight in sacrifices as much as to obey Him
God told Samuel, don’t mourn for Saul because I have chosen another King for Israel, Fill your horn with oil go to Jesse of Bethlehem – as I have chosen one of his sons to be king
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
