David Defeats the Philistines
17 When the Philistines heard that David had been anointed king over Israel, they went up in full force to search for him, but David heard about it and went down to the stronghold. 18 Now the Philistines had come and spread out in the Valley of Rephaim; 19 so David inquired of the Lord, “Shall I go and attack the Philistines? Will you deliver them into my hands?”
The Lord answered him, “Go, for I will surely deliver the Philistines into your hands.”
داؤد کا فلسطینیوں کے خلاف لڑنا
17 فلسطینیوں نے سنا کہ اسرا ئیلیوں نے مسح ( چُنا ) کیا ہے کہ داؤد اسرا ئیل کا بادشاہ ہو۔ اس لئے فلسطینیوں نے داؤد کو مار ڈالنے کے لئے تلاش کرنا شروع کیا۔ لیکن داؤد نے اس کے متعلق سنا اور یروشلم کے قلعہ میں چلا گیا۔ 18 فلسطینی آئے اور رفائیم کی وادی میں ڈیرہ ڈالے۔
19 داؤد نے خداوند سے پو چھتے ہو ئے کہا ، “کیا مجھے فلسطینیوں کے خلاف جنگ میں جانا ہوگا ؟” کیا آپ فلسطینیوں کو شکست دینے میں میری مدد کرینگے؟”
خداوند نے داؤد سے کہا ، “ہاں میں یقیناً فلسطینیوں کو شکست دینے کے لئے تمہاری مدد کروں گا۔
My point of view about above verses
When David has become king- he inquired God shall I attack the Philistines – will you deliver them into my hands – Lord said yes
God cares and answers if we remain faithful - and He fights for us also
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
