1 Kings ; Chapter 9 Verse 6-9
The Lord Appears to Solomon
6 “But if you or your descendants turn away from me and do not observe the commands and decrees I have given you and go off to serve other gods and worship them, 7 then I will cut off Israel from the land I have given them and will reject this temple I have consecrated for my Name. Israel will then become a byword and an object of ridicule among all peoples. 8 This temple will become a heap of rubble. All who pass by will be appalled and will scoff and say, ‘Why has the Lord done such a thing to this land and to this temple?’ 9 People will answer, ‘Because they have forsaken the Lord their God, who brought their ancestors out of Egypt, and have embraced other gods, worshiping and serving them—that is why the Lord brought all this disaster on them.’”
6-7 “لیکن اگر تم یا تمہارے بچوں نے میرے راستے پر چلنا چھوڑ دیا اور میرے قانون اور احکام کی پابندی نہیں کی اور کسی دوسرے جھوٹے خداؤں کی عبادت و خدمت کی تو میں اسرائیل کو زبردستی زمین سے ہٹاؤنگا جو میں نے انہیں دی ہے دوسرے لوگ اسرائیل پر مذاق اڑائیں گے۔ میں نے اس ہیکل کو پاک بنایا ہے۔ یہ وہ جگہ ہے جہاں لوگ میری تعظیم کریں گے۔ لیکن اگر تم میری اطاعت نہ کرو تو میں اسے تباہ کردونگا۔ 8 ہیکل تباہ ہوجائیں گے۔ ہر آدمی جو دیکھتا ہوگا وہ حیران ہوگا۔ وہ پوچھیں گے کہ خدا وند نے کیوں اس سرزمین اور ہیکل پر بھیانک چیزیں کیں۔ 9 دوسرے لوگ جواب دیں گے یہ واقعات اس لئے ہوئے کیوں کہ انہوں نے اپنے خدا وند خدا کو چھوڑ دیا تھا اس نے انکے اجداد کو مصر سے باہر لے آیا تھا لیکن انہوں نے دوسرے خدا ؤں کے راستہ پر چلنے کا تہیہ کیا تھا۔ انہوں نے انکی عبادت اور خدمت شروع کی تھی اس لئے خدا وند نے ایسے برے حادثات ان پر لائے۔ ”
My point of view about above verses
Lord appeared to Solomon (David's Son) second time when he finished building the temple of the Lord
God told Solomon that I heard your prayer and consecrated this temple which you built by putting my name there forever- my eyes and my heart will always be there
God told Solomon if you walk faithfully and integrity of heart and uprightness and observe my commands and decrees as your father did – then I will establish your throne over Israel forever – you will always have a successor to sit on throne of Israel
But if you or your descendants turn away from the way of your ancestors – then I will reject this temple and Israelites will be ridiculed among other people as you forsaken your Lord who brought you out of Egypt and worshipping serving other gods
God choose us to work for Him and when we finish our work, He considers it and bless
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
