1 Kings ; Chapter 14 Verse 12-13
12 “As for you, go back home. When you set foot in your city, the boy will die. 13 All Israel will mourn for him and bury him. He is the only one belonging to Jeroboam who will be buried, because he is the only one in the house of Jeroboam in whom the Lord, the God of Israel, has found anything good.
12 پھر اخیاہ نبی نے یربعام کی بیوی سے بات کرنی جاری رکھی اس نے کہا ، “اب گھر جاؤ جیسے ہی تم اپنے شہر میں داخل ہوگی تمہارا بیٹا مر جائے گا۔ 13 تمام اسرائیل اس کے لئے روئیں گے اور اس کو دفن کریں گے یُر بعام کے خاندان میں صرف تمہارا بیٹا ہی وہ شخص ہوگا جسے دفنایا جائے گا۔ یہ اس لئے کہ یربعام کے خاندان میں صرف وہی ایک ہے جس نے خدا وند اسرائیل کے خدا کو خوش کیا ہے۔
My point of view about above verses
God told Ahijah that wife of King Jeroboam is coming to you to ask about her son who is sick – when she arrives she will pretend to be someone else
When she arrives to Ahijah he said come king’s wife why you are pretending – there is message for you from God, go and tell Jeroboam that I have raised you up to rule my people Israel but you are not as faithful as my servant David was – you have done more evil than all who lived before you- you have made for yourselves gods of metal and aroused my anger
So I the Lord will bring disaster on Jeroboam house- I will cut all last male in Israel of Jeroboam house- and burn his house as one burns dung – Dogs will eat those from his family who die in city and birds will feed on those who die in country
God told only person in Jerobum family who will get burial is this boy as God found anything good in him
God gets angry if we do things which He detests / hates
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
