Exodus 16 , verse 28-30
28 Then the Lord said to Moses, “How long will you[c] refuse to keep my commands and my instructions? 29 Bear in mind that the Lord has given you the Sabbath; that is why on the sixth day he gives you bread for two days. Everyone is to stay where they are on the seventh day; no one is to go out.” 30 So the people rested on the seventh day
My point of view about above verses
God want us to take rest on 7th day as He told Israelites – He does not want us to refuse Him. As He is the provider and also he wants us to take some rest - whatever He commands its good for our well being as he made us He knows what is beneficial for us
