Exodus 17 , verse 14
14 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Write this on a scroll as something to be remembered and make sure that Joshua hears it, because I will completely blot out the name of Amalek from under heaven
My point of view about above verses
God said some nations will no more live under heaven as He told Moses about Amalek and also He told him to write to remember so that later generations have to act upon it
