2 Kings ; Chapter 17 verse 24 - 26
Samaria Resettled
24 The king of Assyria brought people from Babylon, Kuthah, Avva, Hamath and Sepharvaim and settled them in the towns of Samaria to replace the Israelites. They took over Samaria and lived in its towns. 25 When they first lived there, they did not worship the Lord; so he sent lions among them and they killed some of the people. 26 It was reported to the king of Assyria: “The people you deported and resettled in the towns of Samaria do not know what the god of that country requires. He has sent lions among them, which are killing them off, because the people do not know what he requires.”
سامری لوگوں کی ابتداء
24 اسُور کے بادشاہ نے بنی اسرائیلیوں کو سامر یہ کے باہر کیا۔ پھر اس نے لوگوں کو بابل ،کوتہ ،عوّا ، حمّات ، اور سِفروائم سے لایا۔ انہیں سامر یہ میں اسرائیلیوں کی جگہ پر ان لوگوں کو جلا وطن کر دیا گیا تھا بسایا گیا۔ ان لوگوں نے سامریہ پر قبضہ کیا اور اطراف کے شہروں میں بسے۔ 25 جب یہ لوگ سامریہ میں رہنا شروع کئے انہوں نے خدا وند کی تعظیم نہیں کی اس لئے خدا وند نے شیروں کو ان پر حملہ کرنے بھیجا۔ ان شیروں نے ان میں سے کچھ لوگوں کو مارڈا لا۔ 26 کچھ لوگوں نے اسور کے بادشاہ سے کہا ، “وہ لوگ جنہیں آپ لائے اور سامریہ کے شہروں میں بسائے وہ اس ملک کے خدا وند کے قانون کو نہیں جانتے۔ اس لئے خدا وند ان کے پاس شیروں کو ان پر حملہ کرنے کے لئے بھیجا۔ شیروں نے ان لوگوں کو مارڈا لا کیوں کہ وہ لوگ اس ملک کے خدا وند کے قانون کو نہیں جانتے۔”
My point of view about above verses
King of Assyria bring people from Babylon and other areas in the towns of Samaria to replace Israelites but God send lions who kill some of the people as they are not worshipping God
So God punish us if we do not obey Him
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
