2 Kings ; Chapter 18 verse 5 -8
5 Hezekiah trusted in the Lord, the God of Israel. There was no one like him among all the kings of Judah, either before him or after him. 6 He held fast to the Lord and did not stop following him; he kept the commands the Lord had given Moses. 7 And the Lord was with him; he was successful in whatever he undertook. He rebelled against the king of Assyria and did not serve him. 8 From watchtower to fortified city, he defeated the Philistines, as far as Gaza and its territory.
5 حزقیاہ نے خدا وند اسرائیل کے خدا پر بھروسہ کیا۔ یہوداہ کے بادشاہوں میں حزقیاہ جیسا کوئی آدمی نہیں تھا نہ اس سے پہلے نہ اس کے بعد۔ 6 حزقیاہ خدا وند کا وفادار تھا۔ اس نے خدا وند کی اطاعت کرنا نہیں چھو ڑا۔ اس نے ان احکامات کی اطاعت کی جو خدا وند نے موسیٰ کو دیئے تھے۔ 7 خدا وند حزقیاہ کے ساتھ تھا۔ حزقیاہ نے ہر وہ چیز جسے کیا اس میں کامیاب رہا۔
حزقیاہ نے اسور کے بادشاہ سے اپنے کو آزاد کرلیا۔ حزقیاہ نے اسور کے بادشاہ کی خدمت کرنی بند کردی۔ 8 حزقیاہ نے غزّہ اور اسکے چاروں طرف کے علاقہ کو پانے تک فلسطینیوں کو مسلسل شکست دی۔ اس کے علاوہ اس نے تمام فلسطینی شہروں کو شکست دی۔ چھو ٹے شہر سے لیکر بڑے سے بڑے شہر تک۔
My point of view about above verses
God was with Hezekiah king as he followed Lord’s commands – There was no one like him among all the kings of Judah
God remains with people who obey Him whole heartedly
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
