2 Kings ; Chapter 19 verse 37
Isaiah Prophesies Sennacherib’s Fall
37 One day, while he was worshiping in the temple of his god Nisrok, his sons Adrammelek and Sharezer killed him with the sword, and they escaped to the land of Ararat. And Esarhaddon his son succeeded him as king.
37 ایک دن سخیر یب اپنے خداوند نسروک کی ہیکل میں عبادت کر رہا تھا اس کے بیٹے ادرملک اور شراضر نے اس کو تلوار سے مار ڈا لا اور پھر دونوں اراراط ( ایک قدیم ملک مشرقی ترکی کا علاقہ ) سر زمین کو فرار ہو گئے۔اور سخیر یب کا بیٹا اسر حدوّن اس کے بعد نیا بادشاہ ہو ا۔
My point of view about above verses
God was with Hezekiah king as he followed Lord’s commands – There was no one like him among all the kings of Judah
King Hezekiah tore his clothes because of the word of field commander of king Assyria sent to ridicule God but Lord said don’t be afraid – when he hears a certain report he will return to his country and there I will cut him down with the sword
God heard Hezekiak prayer concerning king of Assyria and replied
That night angel of Lord killed 185,000 men in Assyrian camp so King broke the camp and withdrew
Later his own sons killed him with the sword as Lord said
God remains with people and cares for them who obey Him and worship Him whole heartedly - God knows how to rescue us when we are in trouble and whatever He says comes true
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
