2 Kings ; Chapter 20 verse 12-18
Envoys From Babylon
12 At that time Marduk-Baladan son of Baladan king of Babylon sent Hezekiah letters and a gift, because he had heard of Hezekiah’s illness. 13 Hezekiah received the envoys and showed them all that was in his storehouses—the silver, the gold, the spices and the fine olive oil—his armory and everything found among his treasures. There was nothing in his palace or in all his kingdom that Hezekiah did not show them.
14 Then Isaiah the prophet went to King Hezekiah and asked, “What did those men say, and where did they come from?”
“From a distant land,” Hezekiah replied. “They came from Babylon.”
15 The prophet asked, “What did they see in your palace?”
“They saw everything in my palace,” Hezekiah said. “There is nothing among my treasures that I did not show them.”
16 Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, “Hear the word of the Lord: 17 The time will surely come when everything in your palace, and all that your predecessors have stored up until this day, will be carried off to Babylon. Nothing will be left, says the Lord. 18 And some of your descendants, your own flesh and blood who will be born to you, will be taken away, and they will become eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.”
حزقیاہ اور بابل کے آدمی
12 اس وقت بلہ دان کا بیٹا مرودک بلہ دان با بل کا بادشا ہ تھا۔ اس نے حزقیاہ کو خطوط اور تحفہ بھیجا۔ مرودک بلہ دان نے ایسا اس لئے کیا کیوں کہ وہ سنا تھا کہ حزقیاہ بیمار ہے۔ 13 حزقیاہ نے بابل کے لوگوں کا استقبال کیا اور انہیں محل کی قیمتی چیزیں دکھا ئیں۔ اس نے ان کو سونا ، چاندی ، مصالح، قیمتی عطریات اور ہتھیار اور خزانے کی ہر چیز دکھا ئی۔ حزقیاہ کی حکومت اور محل میں کوئی چیز ایسی نہ تھی جسے اس نے نہ دکھا یا ہو۔
14 تب یسعیاہ نبی بادشاہ حزقیاہ کے پاس آیا اور اس کو پوچھا ، “وہ کون لوگ ہیں وہ کہاں سے آئے ہیں انہوں نے کیا کہا ؟”
حزقیاہ نے کہا ، “وہ بہت دور کے ملک بابل سے آئے ہیں۔”
15 یسعیاہ نے کہا ، “انہوں نے تمہا رے محل میں کیا دیکھا ؟”
حزقیاہ نے جواب دیا، “انہوں نے ہر چیز میرے محل میں دیکھی ہے میرے خزانے میں کو ئی ایسی چیز نہیں جسے میں نے نہ دکھا ئی ہو۔”
16 تب یسعیاہ نے حزقیاہ سے کہا، “خداوند کی طرف سے یہ پیغا م سنو۔ 17 وقت آرہا ہے کہ تمہا رے محل کی تمام چیزیں اور تمہا رے آبا ؤ اجداد کی چیزیں جو آج تک بچی ہو ئی تھیں بابل کولے جا ئی جائیں گی کچھ بھی نہیں رہے گا۔ خداوند یہ کہتا ہے۔ 18 بابل کے لوگ تمہا رے بیٹوں کو لے جا ئیں گے اور تمہا رے بیٹے بابل کے بادشا ہ کے محل میں خواجہ سرا ہوں گے۔”
My point of view about above verses
God was with Hezekiah king as he followed Lord’s commands – There was no one like him among all the kings of Judah
Hezekiah showed everything in his palace to king of Baybolon and God told Isaiah tell Hezekiak time will come when everything in your palace stored up by your predecessors will be carried to Babylon – even some of your descendants your own flesh and blood will be taken away and they become eunuchs in the palace of king of Babylon
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
