2 Chronicles ; Chapter 1 verse 5-7
5 But the bronze altar that Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, had made was in Gibeon in front of the tabernacle of the Lord; so Solomon and the assembly inquired of him there. 6 Solomon went up to the bronze altar before the Lord in the tent of meeting and offered a thousand burnt offerings on it.
7 That night God appeared to Solomon and said to him, “Ask for whatever you want me to give you.”
5 بضلی ایل بن اوری بن حور نے کانسے کی ایک قربانگاہ بنا ئی تھی۔ وہ کانسے کی قربانگا ہ جبعون میں مقدس خیمہ کے سامنے تھی۔اس لئے سلیمان اور وہ لوگ خداوند سے رائے لینے جبعون گئے۔ 6 سلیمان خیمٴہ اجتماع میں خداوند کے سامنے کانسے کی قربان گا ہ تک گئے۔سلیمان نے قربان گا ہ میں ایک ہزار جلانے کی قربانی پیش کیں۔
7 اس رات خدا سلیمان کے پاس آیا۔خدا نے کہا، “مجھ سے تم وہ مانگو جو کچھ تم چاہتے ہو تا کہ میں تمہیں دوں۔”
My point of view about above verses
God told David that your son Solomon will built a house for my name not you as you have shed so much blood on earth. He will be a man of peace – he will reign Israelites in peace – he will be my son and I be his father – and I will establish his throne over Israel forever
When Solomon offered 1000 burnt offerings – God asked him – ask for whatever you want me to give you
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
