The Dedication of the Temple
When Solomon finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the Lord filled the temple. 2 The priests could not enter the temple of the Lord because the glory of the Lord filled it. 3 When all the Israelites saw the fire coming down and the glory of the Lord above the temple, they knelt on the pavement with their faces to the ground, and they worshiped and gave thanks to the Lord, saying,
“He is good; his love endures forever.”
7 جب سلیمان نے دعا ختم کی تو آسمان سے آ گ نیچے آئی اور جلانے کے نذرانوں اور قربانیوں کو جلائی۔ خدا کا جلال ہیکل میں بھر گیا۔ 2 کاہن خدا وند کی ہیکل میں داخل نہ ہو سکے کیوں کہ خدا کا جلال اس میں بھر گیا تھا۔ 3 تمام بنی اسرائیلیوں نے جنّت سے آ گ کو آتے دیکھا۔ انہوں نے خدا کے جلال کو بھی ہیکل پر دیکھا۔ وہ منھ کے بل زمین پر گرے اور سجدہ کئے۔ انہوں نے خدا وند کی عبادت کی اور شکر ادا کیا۔ انہوں نے گیت گایا:
خدا وند اچھا ہے اور اسکی مہر بانی ہمیشہ رہتی ہے۔
My point of view about above verses
When Solomon finished prayer, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the glory of Lord filled the temple
When we make offerings to God with prayer - His glory filled the place and us
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
