2 Chronicles ; Chapter 13 verse 19-20
19 Abijah pursued Jeroboam and took from him the towns of Bethel, Jeshanah and Ephron, with their surrounding villages. 20 Jeroboam did not regain power during the time of Abijah. And the Lord struck him down and he died
19 ابیاہ کی فوج نے یربعام کی فوج کا پیچھا کیا۔ ابیاہ کی فوج نے بیت ایل ، یسا نہ اور عفرون کے شہروں کو یربعام سے جیت لیا۔ انہوں نے ان شہروں کو اور اسکے قریبی چھو ٹے قریوں کو بھی لے لیا۔ 20 یُربعام دو بارہ کبھی طا قتور نہیں ہوا جب تک ابیاہ زندہ رہا۔ خدا وند نے یربعام کو مار ڈا لا۔
My point of view about above verses
When there was fight between Judah and Israelites – God delivered Israelites into Judah hands as they relied on the Lord – and there were 500,000 causalities among Israel’s able men on that day
Lord struck down Jeroboam and he died
Its God who gives life and death - only we need to trust HIM
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
