2 Chronicles ; Chapter 14 verse 2-6
Asa King of Judah
2 Asa did what was good and right in the eyes of the Lord his God. 3 He removed the foreign altars and the high places, smashed the sacred stones and cut down the Asherah poles.[b] 4 He commanded Judah to seek the Lord, the God of their ancestors, and to obey his laws and commands. 5 He removed the high places and incense altars in every town in Judah, and the kingdom was at peace under him. 6 He built up the fortified cities of Judah, since the land was at peace. No one was at war with him during those years, for the Lord gave him rest.
یہوداہ کا بادشاہ آسا
2 آسا نے خدا وند اپنے خدا کے لئے اچھے اور صحیح کام کئے۔ 3 آسا نے ان غیر ملکی قربان گاہوں کو ہٹا دیا جن کا استعمال مورتیوں کی پرستش کے لئے ہوتا تھا۔ آسا نے اعلیٰ جگہوں کو ہٹا دیا اور یادگار پتھروں کو تباہ کر دیا اور آسا نے آشیرہ کے ستون کو توڑ ڈا لا۔ 4 آسا نے یہوداہ کے لوگوں کے آباؤ اجداد کے خدا وند خدا کے راستے پر چلنے کا حکم دیا اور آسا نے خدا وند کے احکام کی تعمیل کرنے کا حکم دیا۔ 5 آسا نے اعلیٰ جگہوں اور بخور کی قربان گاہوں کو یہوداہ کے شہروں سے ہٹا دیا۔ اس لئے جب آسا بادشاہ تھا تو مملکت میں امن تھا۔ 6 آسا نے یہوداہ میں امن کے زمانے میں شہروں کو طاقتور بنایا آسا نے ان برسوں میں کوئی جنگ نہیں کی۔ کیوں کہ خدا وند نے اسے امن عطا کیا تھا۔
My point of view about above verses
Asa did what is right in the eyes of the Lord so God gave him rest and peace during his reign
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
