2 Chronicles ; Chapter 21 verse 18-20
Jehoram King of Judah
18 After all this, the Lord afflicted Jehoram with an incurable disease of the bowels. 19 In the course of time, at the end of the second year, his bowels came out because of the disease, and he died in great pain. His people made no funeral fire in his honor, as they had for his predecessors.
God afflicted Jehoram with an incurable disease because of his evil doing and he died in great pain
20 Jehoram was thirty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem eight years. He passed away, to no one’s regret, and was buried in the City of David, but not in the tombs of the kings.
18 ان چیزوں کے ہونے کے بعد خدا وند نے یہورام کی آنتوں میں ایسی بیماری پیدا کی جس کا علاج نہ ہو سکا۔ 19 تب یہورام کی آنتیں دو سال بعد اس کی بیماری کی وجہ سے باہر نکل گئیں وہ بہت بری حالت میں مرا۔ یہورام کی تعظیم میں لوگوں نے بڑی آگ نہیں جلا ئی جیسا کہ اس کے باپ کے لئے کئے تھے۔ 20 یہو رام جب بادشاہ ہوا تو وہ ۳۲ سال کا تھا اس نے یروشلم میں آٹھ سال حکومت کی۔ جب یہورام مرا تو کوئی بھی آدمی غمزدہ نہیں تھا۔ لوگوں نے یہورام کو شہر داؤد میں دفن کیا۔ لیکن ان قبروں میں نہیں دفن کیا جہاں بادشاہوں کو دفن کیا گیا۔
My point of view about above verses
Lord aroused hostility of Philistines and Ahab against King Jehoram – so they carried all goods found in Kings Palace together with his sons and wives. Only youngest son was with him whose name was Ahaziah
God afflicted Jehoram with an incurable disease because of his evil doing and he died in great pain
If we act against God - He acts against us
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
