The Death of Josiah
20 After all this, when Josiah had set the temple in order, Necho king of Egypt went up to fight at Carchemish on the Euphrates, and Josiah marched out to meet him in battle. 21 But Necho sent messengers to him, saying, “What quarrel is there, king of Judah, between you and me? It is not you I am attacking at this time, but the house with which I am at war. God has told me to hurry; so stop opposing God, who is with me, or he will destroy you.”
یوسیاہ کی موت
20 جب یوسیاہ ہیکل کے لئے اچھا کام کر چکا اس وقت مصر کا بادشاہ نکوہ نے شہر کرکمیس دریائے فرات کے پار کے خلاف جنگ کر نے فوج لے کر آیا۔ نکوہ مصر کا بادشاہ تھا۔ بادشاہ یوسیاہ ، بادشاہ نکوہ سے لڑ نے کے لئے باہر نکلا۔ 21 لیکن نکوہ نے یوسیاہ کے پاس اپنے قاصدوں کو بھیجے وہ یوسیاہ کے سامنے گئے اور کہا،
“بادشاہ یوسیاہ یہ جنگ آپ کے لئے کوئی مسئلہ نہیں ہے۔ میں تمہارے خلاف لڑ نے نہیں آیا ہوں۔ میں یہاں اپنے دشمنوں سے لڑ نے آیا ہوں۔ خدا نے مجھے جلدی کرنے کو کہا ہے خدا میرے ساتھ ہے اس لئے مجھے اکیلا چھو ڑو۔ اگر تم ہمارے خلاف لڑو گے تو خدا تمہیں تباہ کر دیگا !”
My point of view about above verses
God told king of Egypt to fight with king of Judah- King of Egypt told this to Josiah king of Judah but he didn’t listen and go in battle against king of Egypt and defeated and died
God may chose anyone in the world to fulfil His will
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
