Ezra ; Chapter 7 verse 8-11
Ezra Comes to Jerusalem
8 Ezra arrived in Jerusalem in the fifth month of the seventh year of the king. 9 He had begun his journey from Babylon on the first day of the first month, and he arrived in Jerusalem on the first day of the fifth month, for the gracious hand of his God was on him. 10 For Ezra had devoted himself to the study and observance of the Law of the Lord, and to teaching its decrees and laws in Israel.
King Artaxerxes’ Letter to Ezra
God moved heart of King Artaxerxes so he sent Ezra the priest with following decree
11 This is a copy of the letter King Artaxerxes had given to Ezra the priest, a teacher of the Law, a man learned in matters concerning the commands and decrees of the Lord for Israel:
8 عزرا ارتخششتا کی بادشا ہت کے ساتویں سال کے پانچویں مہینے میں یروشلم پہنچا۔ 9 عزرا اور اس کے ساتھ کا گروہ بابل سے پہلے مہینے کے پہلے دن نکلا۔ وہ یروشلم پانچویں مہینے کے پہلے دن پہنچا۔کیونکہ اس کے خدا کی شفقت کا ہا تھ اس پر تھا۔ 10 عزرا خداوند کے اصولوں کو پڑھنے اور ان کی تعمیل کرنے کے لئے آمادہ ہو گیا۔ عزرا بنی اسرائیلیوں کو خداوند کے اصولوں اور احکاموں کی تعلیم دینا چا ہتا تھا۔ اور وہ اسرائیل میں لوگو ں کو ان اصولوں کی تعمیل کرنے میں مدد دینا چاہتا تھا۔
بادشاہ ارتخششتا کا خط عزرا کے نام
11 عزرا ایک کا ہن اور معلم بھی تھا۔ اسرائیل کے خداوند کے دیئے گئے احکام اور قانون کے متعلق جسے کہ اس نے
اسرائیل کو دیا تھا زیادہ واقفیت رکھتا تھا۔ یہ بادشا ہ ارتخششتا کے خط کی نقل ہے جو اس نے معلم عزرا کو دیا تھا:
My point of view about above verses
God moved the heart of king of Persia to built a temple for him in Jerusalem
God moved the hearts of heads of Judah and the priests and Levites - & they went to build the house of Lord in Jerusalem
God moved the heart of King Dairus to rebuilt the house of God in Jerusalem
King Cyrus issued a decree to rebuilt the house of Lord and made arrangent of finances to build the House of God
King Dara of Persia issued a decree to start builting the Temple of God of heaven
Ezra (a teacher well versed in the Law of Moses) from descendants of Aaron the priest went from Babylon to built the temple of Lord. King granted him everything as the hand of Lord was on him
Its God always who moved hearts of the people of all the nations of the world
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
