Ezra ; Chapter 7 verse 12-17
Ezra Comes to Jerusalem
12 Artaxerxes, king of kings,
To Ezra the priest, teacher of the Law of the God of heaven:
Greetings.
13 Now I decree that any of the Israelites in my kingdom, including priests and Levites, who volunteer to go to Jerusalem with you, may go. 14 You are sent by the king and his seven advisers to inquire about Judah and Jerusalem with regard to the Law of your God, which is in your hand. 15 Moreover, you are to take with you the silver and gold that the king and his advisers have freely given to the God of Israel, whose dwelling is in Jerusalem, 16 together with all the silver and gold you may obtain from the province of Babylon, as well as the freewill offerings of the people and priests for the temple of their God in Jerusalem. 17 With this money be sure to buy bulls, rams and male lambs, together with their grain offerings and drink offerings, and sacrifice them on the altar of the temple of your God in Jerusalem.
[a] 12 باد شا ہو ں کا بادشا ہ ارتخششتا کی جانب سے ، آسمان کے خدا کی شریعت کے معلم و کا ہن عزرا کے نام :
نیک خواہشات!
13 میں نے یہ حکم دیا ہے : کو ئی آدمی کا ہن یا اسرائیل کا لاوی جو میری مملکت میں رہتا ہو اسے عزرا کے ساتھ یروشلم جانے کی جازت ہے۔
14 عزرا ! میرے اور میرے سات مشیروں کی طرف سے تجھے بھیجا جا رہا ہے۔تمہیں یہودا ہ اور یروشلم کو جانا چا ہئے۔ یہ دیکھو کہ تمہا رے لوگ اپنے خدا کے اصولوں کی پابندی کیسے کر تے ہیں تمہا رے پاس وہ اصول ہیں۔
15 میں اور میرے مُشیر اسرائیل کے خدا کے لئے سونا اور چاندی دے رہے ہیں۔خدا یروشلم میں رہتا ہے۔ یہ سونا اور چاندی تمہیں اپنے ساتھ لے جانا چا ہئے
16 تمہیں بابل کے تمام صوبوں میں جانا چا ہئے۔اپنے لوگوں، کا ہنوں اور لاویوں سے بھی نذرانے جمع کرو۔ یہ نذرانے یروشلم میں خدا کی ہیکل کے لئے ہیں۔
17 اس رقم کا استعمال بیلو ں، مینڈھوں اور نر میمنوں کی خریداری کے لئے کرو ان نذرانوں کے ساتھ دوسرے اجناس اور پینے کے نذرانے بھی خریدو تب ان کی قربانی خدا کی ہیکل کی قربان گا ہ میں جو یروشلم میں ہے پیش کرو۔
My point of view about above verses
God moved the heart of king of Persia to built a temple for him in Jerusalem
God moved the hearts of heads of Judah and the priests and Levites - & they went to build the house of Lord in Jerusalem
God moved the heart of King Dairus to rebuilt the house of God in Jerusalem
King Cyrus issued a decree to rebuilt the house of Lord and made arrangent of finances to build the House of God
King Dara of Persia issued a decree to start builting the Temple of God of heaven
Ezra (a teacher well versed in the Law of Moses) from descendants of Aaron the priest went from Babylon to built the temple of Lord. King granted him everything as the hand of Lord was on him
Its God always who moved hearts of the people of all the nations of the world
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
