Ezra ; Chapter 7 verse 25-28
King Artaxerxes’ Letter to Ezra
25 And you, Ezra, in accordance with the wisdom of your God, which you possess, appoint magistrates and judges to administer justice to all the people of Trans-Euphrates—all who know the laws of your God. And you are to teach any who do not know them. 26 Whoever does not obey the law of your God and the law of the king must surely be punished by death, banishment, confiscation of property, or imprisonment.
27 Praise be to the Lord, the God of our ancestors, who has put it into the king’s heart to bring honor to the house of the Lord in Jerusalem in this way 28 and who has extended his good favor to me before the king and his advisers and all the king’s powerful officials. Because the hand of the Lord my God was on me, I took courage and gathered leaders from Israel to go up with me.
25 “عزرا !میں تمہیں اختیار دیتا ہوں کہ تم اپنی دانشمندی سے جو تمہیں خدا کی طر ف سے ملی ہے اس کے ذریعہ سرکاری اور مذہبی منصفوں کو چُنو۔ یہ لوگ ان تمام لوگو ں کے لئے جو دریائے فرات کے مغربی علاقوں میں رہتے ہیں منصف رہیں گے۔ یہ سب منصف ان سبھوں کا فیصلہ کرینگے جو تمہا رے خدا کے قوانین کو جانتا ہے۔ اگر کو ئی آدمی ان اصولوں کو نہیں جانتا تو وہ منصف انہیں ان قوانین کو ضرور سکھا ئیں گے۔ 26 اگر کو ئی ایسا آدمی جو تمہا رے خدا کے احکام یا بادشا ہ کے احکام کی تعمیل نہیں کرتا ہے تو یقیناً اسے اس کے قصور کے مطابق سزادی جانی چا ہئے۔اسے سزائے موت ، جلاوطن،اس کی جائیداد کی ضبطی یا اس کو قید میں ڈالنے کی سزا دی جانی چا ہئے۔
عزرا کا خدا کی حمد کرنا
27 [b]ہمارے باپ داد ا کے خداوند خدا کی تعریف کرو۔ا س
ا س نے بادشا ہ کے دِل میں یہ خیال ڈا لا کہ وہ یروشلم میں خداوند کے ہیکل کی تعظیم کرے۔ 28 خداوند نے بادشا ہ اور اس کے مشیروں اور بادشا ہ کے اہم عہدیداروں کے سامنے اپنی سچی محبت بتا ئی ہے۔ خداوند میرا خدا میرے ساتھ تھا میں باہمت رہا اور میں نے اسرائیل کے قائدین کو اپنے ساتھ یروشلم جانے کے لئے جمع کیا۔
My point of view about above verses
God moved the heart of king of Persia to built a temple for him in Jerusalem
God moved the hearts of heads of Judah and the priests and Levites - & they went to build the house of Lord in Jerusalem
God moved the heart of King Dairus to rebuilt the house of God in Jerusalem
King Cyrus issued a decree to rebuilt the house of Lord and made arrangent of finances to build the House of God
King Dara of Persia issued a decree to start builting the Temple of God of heaven
Ezra (a teacher well versed in the Law of Moses) from descendants of Aaron the priest went from Babylon to built the temple of Lord. King granted him everything as the hand of Lord was on him
Its God always who moved hearts of the people of all the nations of the world
God use kings and governments to do good to His people
Ezra gathered leaders from Israel to go to Jerusalem with him to built the temple of Lord – God moved the hearts of King and his officials towards Ezra to fulfil the cause of God
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
