Psalms ; Psalm 2, verse 7-9
7 I will proclaim the Lord’s decree:
He said to me, “You are my son; today I have become your father. 8 Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession. 9 You will break them with a rod of iron; you will dash them to pieces like pottery.”
اب میں خداوند کے اُس فرمان کو تجھے بتا تا ہوں۔
خداوند نے مجھ سے کہا تھا، “ آج میں تیرا باپ بنتا ہوں اور توآج میرا بیٹا بن گیا ہے۔
8 اگر تو مجھ سے مانگے، تو ان قوموں کو میں تجھے دے دوں گا
اور اس زمین کے سبھی لوگ تیرے ہو جا ئیں گے۔
9 تیرے پاس ان ملکوں کو نیست و نابود کر نے کی ویسی ہی قدرت ہو گی
جیسے کسی مٹی کے برتن کو کو ئی لو ہے کے عصا سے چکنا چور کر دے۔”
My point of view about above verses
Its God who has selected the anointed King for Zion - so God is angry on them who are conspiring together to throw the anointed one down - so God's wrath will be on all the kings of the world who are against His selection
God is our father and tell us you are my son – ask from me I will make nations your inheritance and ends of earth your possession – you will break them with iron and dash them to pieces like pottery
This is the power which God can give his sons - are we trying to be his sons and daughters - as He has already selected us - we need to ask Him and He is ready to give
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
