 Ezekiel 4, verse 6-8

  Siege of Jerusalem Symbolized

⁶ “After you have finished this, lie down again, this time on your right side, and bear the sin of the people of Judah. I have assigned you 40 days, a day for each year. ⁷ Turn your face toward the siege of Jerusalem and with bared arm prophesy against her. ⁸ I will tie you up with ropes so that you cannot turn from one side to the other until you have finished the days of your siege.

حِزقی ایل یروشلیِم کے محاصرہ کا عملی 

مُظاہِرہ کرتا ہے

6اور جب تُو اِن کو پُورا کر چُکے تو پِھر اپنی دہنی کروٹ پر لیٹ رہ اور چالِیس دِن تک بنی یہُوداؔہ کی بدکرداری کو برداشت کر۔ مَیں نے تیرے لِئے ایک ایک سال کے بدلے ایک ایک دِن مُقرّر کِیا ہے۔

7پِھر تُو یروشلیِم کے مُحاصرہ کی طرف مُنہ کر اور اپنا بازُو ننگا کر اور اُس کے خِلاف نبُوّت کر۔ 8اور دیکھ مَیں تُجھ پر بندھن ڈالُوں گا کہ تُو کروٹ نہ لے سکے جب تک اپنے مُحاصرہ کے دِنوں کو پُورا نہ کر لے۔

My point of view about above verses

God told Ezekiel about siege of Jerusalem

Then God told Ezekiel lie on your left side and put upon you the sins of Israel- the number of days you will lie on your left side will  be equal to number of years – so it is 390 days – so for 390 days you will bear the sins of people of Israel

God told Ezekiel that lie on your right side for 40 days for sins of Judah, each day is of one year – Turn your face to siege of Jerusalem and prophesy against her - & tell them God will tie you up with ropes so that you can’t turn from one side to other until you have finished the days of siege

 May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
