Leviticus 25 verse 18-22
18 “‘Follow my decrees and be careful to obey my laws, and you will live safely in the land. 19 Then the land will yield its fruit, and you will eat your fill and live there in safety. 20 You may ask, “What will we eat in the seventh year if we do not plant or harvest our crops?” 21 I will send you such a blessing in the sixth year that the land will yield enough for three years. 22 While you plant during the eighth year, you will eat from the old crop and will continue to eat from it until the harvest of the ninth year comes in.
(18)سو تُم میری شرِیعت پر عمل کرنا اور میرے حُکموں کو ماننا اور اُن پر چلنا تو تُم اُس مُلک میں امن کے ساتھ بسے رہو گے۔
(19)اور زمِین پھلے گی اور تُم پیٹ بھر کر کھاؤ گے اور وہاں امن کے ساتھ رہا کرو گے۔
(20)اور اگر تُم کو خیال ہو کہ ہم ساتویں برس کیا کھائیں گے؟ کیونکہ دیکھو ہم کو نہ تو بونا ہے اور نہ اپنی پَیداوار کو جمع کرنا ہے۔
(21)تو مَیں چھٹے ہی برس اَیسی برکت تُم پر نازِل کروں گا کہ تِینوں سال کے لِئے کافی غلّہ پَیدا ہو جائے گا۔
(22)اور آٹھویں برس پِھر جوتنا بونا اورپِچھلا غلّہ کھاتے رہنا بلکہ جب تک نویں سال کے بوئے ہُوئے کی فصل نہ کاٹ لو اُس وقت تک وہی پِچھلا غلّہ کھاتے رہو گے۔
My point of view about above verses
God told Israelite that if they obey me the sixth year produce will last for 3 years and there will be enough food for them to eat - so the requirement is only to trust him and obey him whether it is in our favor or not as man usually go after their own well being - But actually God knows who has created us that what is good for us and how we should live on this earth to have a blissful life - Just obey God and things will automatically turn for us
God is merciful and all wise Lord - He knows how to deal mankind to get best out of them for themselves and for others
Let God give us wisdom to understand his word and apply in our lives
We need to live in this world as God wants us to live - we have to do what he is telling us to do- as it is in our advantage in the long run
