Leviticus 27 verse 30-34
Redeeming What Is the Lord’s
30 “‘A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the Lord; it is holy to the Lord. 31 Whoever would redeem any of their tithe must add a fifth of the value to it. 32 Every tithe of the herd and flock—every tenth animal that passes under the shepherd’s rod—will be holy to the Lord. 33 No one may pick out the good from the bad or make any substitution. If anyone does make a substitution, both the animal and its substitute become holy and cannot be redeemed.’”
34 These are the commands the Lord gave Moses at Mount Sinai for the Israelites.
(30)اور زمِین کی پَیداوار کی ساری دَہ یکی خواہ وہ زمِین کے بِیج کی یا درخت کے پَھل کی ہو خُداوند کی ہے اور خُداوند کے لِئے پاک ہے۔
(31)اور اگر کوئی اپنی دَہ یکی میں سے کُچھ چُھڑانا چاہے تو وہ اُس کا پانچواں حِصّہ اُس میں اَور مِلا کر اُسے چُھڑائے۔
(32)اور گائے بَیل اور بھیڑ بکری یا جو جانور چرواہے کی لاٹھی کے نِیچے سے گُذرتا ہو اُن کی دَہ یکی یعنی دس پِیچھے ایک ایک جانور خُداوند کے لِئے پاک ٹھہرے۔
(33)کوئی اُس کی دیکھ بھال نہ کرے کہ وہ اچھّا ہے یا بُرا ہے اور نہ اُسے بدلے اور اگر کہِیں کوئی اُسے بدلے تو وہ اصل اور بدل دونوں کے دونوں مُقدّس ٹھہریں اور اُس کا فِدیہ بھی نہ دِیا جائے۔
(34)جو احکام خُداوند نے کوہِ سِینا پر بنی اِسرائیل کے لِئے مُوسیٰ کو دِئے وہ یِہی ہیں۔
My point of view about above verses
God told Israelite that one tenth of crops, fruits belongs to Lord and are holy to God - and if any wants to redeem it - he should add 1/5th of the value of that in its value and can take it back from the Lord
In the same way every tenth animal from the herd belongs to God whether it is good or bad - There is no substitution for this - If any one make substitution - then both are holy to the Lord
These are the commandments that God gave to Moses on Mount Sinai to obey and live their lives as per laws of the Lord
Let God give us wisdom to understand his word and apply it in our lives
We need to live in this world as God wants us to live - we have to do what he is telling us to do- as it is in our advantage in the long run
