Numbers 3 ; verse 17 - 26
17 These were the names of the sons of Levi:
Gershon, Kohath and Merari.
18 These were the names of the Gershonite clans: Libni and Shimei.19 The Kohathite clans: Amram, Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel.
20 The Merarite clans:Mahli and Mushi.
These were the Levite clans, according to their families
21 To Gershon belonged the clans of the Libnites and Shimeites; these were the Gershonite clans. 22 The number of all the males a month old or more who were counted was 7,500. 23 The Gershonite clans were to camp on the west, behind the tabernacle. 24 The leader of the families of the Gershonites was Eliasaph son of Lael. 25 At the tent of meeting the Gershonites were responsible for the care of the tabernacle and tent, its coverings, the curtain at the entrance to the tent of meeting, 26 the curtains of the courtyard, the curtain at the entrance to the courtyard surrounding the tabernacle and altar, and the ropes—and everything related to their use.
(17)اور لاوی کے بیٹوں کے نام یہ ہیں ۔ جیرسون اور قہات اور مرار ی۔
(18)جیرسون کے بیٹوں کے نام جِن سے اُن کے خاندان چلے یہ ہیں ۔ لِبنی اور سِمعی۔
(19)اور قہات کے بیٹوں کے نام جِن سے اُن کے خاندان چلے عَمرا م اور اِضہار اور حبرُو ن اور عُزّی ایل ہیں۔
(20)اور مرار ی کے بیٹے جِن سے اُن کے خاندان چلے مَحلی اور مُوشی ہیں ۔ لاوِیوں کے گھرانے اُن کے آبائی خاندانوں کے مُوافِق یِہی ہیں۔
(21)اور جیرسون سے لبِنیوں اور سِمعیوں کے خاندان چلے۔ یہ جیرسونیوں کے خاندان ہیں۔
(22)اِن میں جِتنے فرزندِ نرِینہ ایک مہِینے اور اُس سے اُوپر اُوپر کے تھے وہ سب گِنے گئے اور اُن کا شُمار سات ہزار پانچ سَو تھا۔
(23)جیرسونیوں کے خاندانوں کے آدمی مسکن کے پِیچھے مغرِب کی طرف اپنے ڈیرے ڈالا کریں۔
(24)اور لاایل کا بیٹا اِلیاسف جیرسونیوں کے آبائی خاندانوں کا سردار ہو۔
(25)اور خَیمۂِ اِجتماع کے جو سامان بنی جیرسون کی حِفاظت میں سَونپے جائیں وہ یہ ہیں ۔ مسکن اور خَیمہ اور اُس کا غِلاف اور خَیمۂِ اِجتماع کے دروازہ کا پردہ۔
(26)اور مسکن اور مذبح کے گِرد کے صحن کے پردے اور صحن کے دروازہ کا پردہ اور وہ سب رسِیّاں جو اُس میں کام آتی ہیں
My point of view about above verses
God told Moses that Levites belongs to Him - Levi one of the Israel's son - has three sons who are chosen by God to take care of tabernacle and its accessories - He assigned duties to decadents of Levi by name- and also they have to en-camp near tabernacle -
He told Moses to count all males above a month old-
Our God is organized & want his people to organize themselves to achieve goals set by Him for our betterment
Let God give us wisdom to understand his word and apply it in our lives
