Numbers 4 ; verse 7 - 11
The Kohathites
7 “Over the table of the Presence they are to spread a blue cloth and put on it the plates, dishes and bowls, and the jars for drink offerings; the bread that is continually there is to remain on it. 8 They are to spread a scarlet cloth over them, cover that with the durable leather and put the poles in place.
9 “They are to take a blue cloth and cover the lamp stand that is for light, together with its lamps, its wick trimmers and trays, and all its jars for the olive oil used to supply it. 10 Then they are to wrap it and all its accessories in a covering of the durable leather and put it on a carrying frame.
11 “Over the gold altar they are to spread a blue cloth and cover that with the durable leather and put the poles in place.
(7)اور نذر کی روٹی کی میز پر آسمانی رنگ کا کپڑا بِچھا کر اُس کے اُوپر طباق اور چمچے اور اُنڈیلنے کے کٹورے اور پیالے رکھّیں اور دائِمی روٹی بھی اُس پر ہو۔
(8)پِھر وہ اُن پر سُرخ رنگ کا کپڑا بِچھائیں اور اُسے تُخس کی کھالوں کے ایک غِلاف سے ڈھانکیں اور میز میں اُس کی چوبیں لگا دیں۔
(9)پِھر آسمانی رنگ کا کپڑا لے کر اُس سے روشنی دینے والے شمعدان کو اور اُس کے چراغوں اور گُلگِیروں اور گُلدانوں اور تیل کے سب ظُروف کو جو شمعدان کے لِئے کام میں آتے ہیں ڈھانکیں۔
(10)اور اُس کو اور اُس کے سب ظُروف کو تُخس کی کھالوں کے ایک غِلاف کے اندر رکھ کر اُس غِلاف کو چَوکھٹے پر دھر دیں۔
(11)اور زرّ ِین مذبح پر آسمانی رنگ کا کپڑا بِچھائیں اور اُسے تُخس کی کھالوں کے ایک غِلاف سے ڈھانکیں اور اُس کی چوبیں اُس میں لگائیں۔
My point of view about above verses
God told Moses to count all men who are 30 years and above till 50 years of age of Kohathites clan of Levites to perform duties for tent of meeting - However Aaron and his sons has to go inside the most holy place -
Aaron and his sons to pack all furnishings of most holy place in a way told by God himself and then the Kohathites has to carry them to travel
God assigned specific duties to people - we need to perform that only to make him happy
Let God give us wisdom to understand his word and apply it in our lives
