Numbers 5 ; verse 29- 31
29 “‘This, then, is the law of jealousy when a woman goes astray and makes herself impure while married to her husband, 30 or when feelings of jealousy come over a man because he suspects his wife. The priest is to have her stand before the Lord and is to apply this entire law to her. 31 The husband will be innocent of any wrongdoing, but the woman will bear the consequences of her sin.’”
(29)غَیرت کے بارے میں یِہی شرع ہے خواہ عَورت اپنے شَوہر کی ہوتی ہُوئی گُمراہ ہو کر ناپاک ہو جائے یا مَرد پر غَیرت سوار ہو۔
(30)اور وہ اپنی بِیوی سے غَیرت کھانے لگے اَیسے حال میں وہ اُس عَورت کو خُداوند کے آگے کھڑی کرے اور کاہِن اُس پر یہ ساری شرِیعت عمل میں لائے۔
(31)تب مَرد گُناہ سے بری ٹھہرے گااور اُس عَورت کا گُناہ اُسی کے سر لگے گا۔
My point of view about above verses
God told Moses tell Israelite that if a married women commit adultery and became impure and her husband has developed a feeling of jealousy - Then he has to bring her before priest with grain offering without oil and frankincense which makes the offering sweet -
This offering is not sweet rather bitter and its for remembrance of wrong doing committed by wife or if she did not do anything wrong and husband feelings are not good towards her - in both cases offering has to be made to let them remember that they have fellowship with God which demands purity in relationship of husband and wife- God gave a mechanism that how to approve or disapprove the feeling of jealously - it has to be addressed for a healthy relationship for future
This is a ceremony to conduct as per God's law to approve or dis-approve the feeling of Jealousy developed by husband- The priest has to conduct this law & God wants his people to be pure in all respects of life
Let God give us wisdom to understand his word and help us to apply it in our lives
