Numbers 6 ; verse 9-12
The Nazirite
9 “‘If someone dies suddenly in the Nazirite’s presence, thus defiling the hair that symbolizes their dedication, they must shave their head on the seventh day—the day of their cleansing. 10 Then on the eighth day they must bring two doves or two young pigeons to the priest at the entrance to the tent of meeting. 11 The priest is to offer one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering to make atonement for the Nazirite because they sinned by being in the presence of the dead body. That same day they are to consecrate their head again. 12 They must rededicate themselves to the Lord for the same period of dedication and must bring a year-old male lamb as a guilt offering. The previous days do not count, because they became defiled during their period of dedication.
(9)اور اگر کوئی آدمی ناگہان اُس کے پاس ہی مَر جائے اور اُس کی نذارت کے سر کو ناپاک کر دے تو وہ اپنے پاک ہونے کے دِن اپنا سر مُنڈوائے یعنی ساتویں دِن سر مُنڈوائے۔
(10)اور آٹھویں روز دو قُمریاں یا کبُوتر کے دو بچّے خَیمۂِ اِجتماع کے دروازہ پر کاہِن کے پاس لائے۔
(11)اور کاہِن ایک کو خطا کی قُربانی کے لِئے اور دُوسرے کو سوختنی قُربانی کے لِئے گُذرانے اور اُس کے لِئے کفّارہ دے کیونکہ وہ مُردہ کے سبب سے گُنہگار ٹھہرا ہے اور اُس کے سر کو اُسی دِن مُقدّس کرے۔
(12)پِھر وہ اپنی نذارت کی مُدّت کو خُداوند کے لِئے مُقدّس کرے اور ایک یکسالہ نر برّہ جُرم کی قُربانی کے لِئے لائے لیکن جو دِن گُذر گئے ہیں وہ گِنے نہیں جائیں گے کیونکہ اُس کی نذارت ناپاک ہو گئی تھی۔
My point of view about above verses
God told Moses tell Israelite that if a man or woman set them apart for Lord by taking a vow - it should be shown that they are keeping them away from worldly pleasures - they are not supposed to drink wine or anything made of grapes or fermented drinks as long as they are under oath - They should not cut their hairs and go near to any dead body - even of their father, mother, brother and sister - they have to kept themselves away from dead bodies during the period of their vow. From observing them or their behavior people should know that they have consecrated or dedicated themselves to Lord
If someone dies before a person who dedicated himself to the Lord - then that person has to shave his head and offer sin offering and guilt offering to the Lord and start again the days of dedication as former days are lost as his separation was defiled because of dead body
Let God give us wisdom to understand his word and help us to apply it in our lives
