Numbers 7 ; verse 84 - 89
84 These were the offerings of the Israelite leaders for the dedication of the altar when it was anointed: twelve silver plates, twelve silver sprinkling bowls and twelve gold dishes. 85 Each silver plate weighed a hundred and thirty shekels, and each sprinkling bowl seventy shekels. Altogether, the silver dishes weighed two thousand four hundred shekels,according to the sanctuary shekel. 86 The twelve gold dishes filled with incense weighed ten shekels each, according to the sanctuary shekel. Altogether, the gold dishes weighed a hundred and twenty shekels. 87 The total number of animals for the burnt offering came to twelve young bulls, twelve rams and twelve male lambs a year old, together with their grain offering. Twelve male goats were used for the sin offering. 88 The total number of animals for the sacrifice of the fellowship offering came to twenty-four oxen, sixty rams, sixty male goats and sixty male lambs a year old. These were the offerings for the dedication of the altar after it was anointed.
89 When Moses entered the tent of meeting to speak with the Lord, he heard the voice speaking to him from between the two cherubim above the atonement cover on the ark of the covenant law. In this way the Lord spoke to him.
(84)مذبح کے ممسُوح ہونے کے دِن جو ہدئے اُس کی تقدِیس کے لِئے اِسرائیلی رئِیسوں کی طرف سے گُذرانے گئے وہ یِہی تھے۔ یعنی چاندی کے بارہ طباق ۔ چاندی کے بارہ کٹورے ۔ سونے کے بارہ چمچ۔
(85)چاندی کا ہر طباق وزن میں ایک سَو تِیس مِثقال اور ہر ایک کٹورا ستّر مِثقال تھا ۔ اِن برتنوں کی ساری چاندی مَقدِس کی مِثقال کے حِساب سے دو ہزار چار سَو مِثقال تھی۔
(86)بخُور سے بھرے ہُوئے سونے کے بارہ چمچ جو مَقدِس کی مِثقال کی تول کے مُطابِق وزن میں دس دس مِثقال کے تھے ۔ اِن چمچوں کا سارا سونا ایک سَو بِیس مِثقال تھا۔
(87)سوختنی قُربانی کے لِئے کُل بارہ بچھڑے بارہ مینڈھے بارہ نر یکسالہ برّے اپنی اپنی نذر کی قُربانی سمیت تھے اور خطا کی قُربانی کے لِئے بارہ بکرے تھے۔
(88)اور سلامتی کی قُربانی کے لِئے کُل چوبِیس بَیل ۔ ساٹھ مینڈھے ۔ ساٹھ بکرے ساٹھ نر یکسالہ برّے تھے ۔ مذبح کی تقدِیس کے لِئے جب وہ ممسُوح ہُؤا اِتنا ہدیہ گُذرانا گیا۔
(89)اور جب مُوسیٰ خُدا سے باتیں کرنے کو خَیمۂِ اِجتماع میں گیا تو اُس نے سرپوش پر سے جو شہادت کے صندُوق کے اُوپر تھا دونوں کرُّوبیوں کے درمِیان سے وہ آواز سُنی جو اُس سے مُخاطِب تھی اور اُس نے اُس سے باتیں کِیں۔
My point of view about above verses
After setting up of tabernacle in wilderness - God told Moses tell leaders of each tribe to bring their offerings for the dedication of altar - Each day leader of one tribe should present his offerings - its started from tribe of Judah - 2nd day offering was from tribe of Issachar, 3nd day offering was from tribe of Zebulun 4th day offering was from tribe of Reuben
5th day offering was from tribe of Simeon; 6th day offering was from tribe of Gad; 7th day offering was from tribe of Ephraim; 8th day offering was from tribe of Manasseh; 9th day offering was from tribe of Benjamin; 10th day offering was from tribe of Dan; 11th day offering was from tribe of Asher; 12th day offering was from tribe of Naphtali;
Each has to offer equal materials for grain offering, burnt offering, sin offering and fellowship offering
Grain Offering should be in silver plate and bowl of specific weight about 3 and 2 pounds respectively
and filled with finest floor mixed with olive oil and a gold dish of specific weight about 4 ounces filled with incense - makes a total of 12 silver plates, 12 silver bowls (weighing 2400 shekel)and 12 gold dishes (weighing 120 shekel)
Burnt offering comprises of one bull, one ram and one male lamb( in total 12 bulls, 12 rams and 12 male lambs)
One male goat for Sin offering (in total 12 male goats)
Fellowship offering comprises of two oxen - five rams, five male goats and five male lambs a year old to be sacrificed ( in total 24 oxen, 60 rams, 60 male goats and 60 male lambs)
This all offerings are used to dedicate the altar & Moses heard the voice speaking to him
God wants that his people has to give offerings generously so that work at altar be performed without any interruption and God also spoke with his prophets
Let God give us wisdom to understand his word and help us to apply it in our lives
