Numbers 8 ; verse 12-14
The Setting Apart of the Levites
12 “Then the Levites are to lay their hands on the heads of the bulls, using one for a sin offering to the Lord and the other for a burnt offering, to make atonement for the Levites. 13 Have the Levites stand in front of Aaron and his sons and then present them as a wave offering to the Lord. 14 In this way you are to set the Levites apart from the other Israelites, and the Levites will be mine.
(12)پِھر لاوی اپنے اپنے ہاتھ بچھڑوں کے سروں پر رکھّیں اور تُو ایک کو خطا کی قُربانی اور دُوسرے کو سوختنی قُربانی کے لِئے خُداوند کے حضُور گُذراننا تاکہ لاوِیوں کے واسطے کفّارہ دِیا جائے۔
(13)پِھر تُو لاوِیوں کو ہارُون اور اُس کے بیٹوں کے آگے کھڑا کرنا اور اُن کو ہِلانے کی قُربانی کے لِئے خُداوند کے حضُور گُذراننا۔
(14)یُوں تُو لاوِیوں کو بنی اِسرائیل سے الگ کرنا اور لاوی میرے ہی ٹھہریں گے
My point of view about above verses
God told Moses to take Levites from tribe of Israel and dedicate them to the Lord - All Israelites has to put their hands on them and then Aaron has to present them as wave offering to the Lord - Nation is offering Levites as a portion dedicate to God fully - Levities has to lay their hands on the heads of bulls to be offered as sin offering and burnt offering -
So dedication towards the Lord is start of practical work in the way God want us to do
Our God is pure and holy and want us to live a holy life
Let God give us wisdom to understand his word and help us to apply it in our lives
