Numbers 12 ; verse 1- 9
Miriam and Aaron Oppose Moses
Miriam and Aaron began to talk against Moses because of his Cushite wife, for he had married a Cushite. 2 “Has the Lord spoken only through Moses?” they asked. “Hasn’t he also spoken through us?” And the Lord heard this.
3 (Now Moses was a very humble man, more humble than anyone else on the face of the earth.)
4 At once the Lord said to Moses, Aaron and Miriam, “Come out to the tent of meeting, all three of you.” So the three of them went out. 5 Then the Lord came down in a pillar of cloud; he stood at the entrance to the tent and summoned Aaron and Miriam. When the two of them stepped forward, 6 he said, “Listen to my words:
“When there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, reveal myself to them in visions, I speak to them in dreams. 7 But this is not true of my servant Moses; he is faithful in all my house.8 With him I speak face to face, clearly and not in riddles; he sees the form of the Lord. Why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?” 9 The anger of the Lord burned against them, and he left them.
مریمؔ کو سزا مِلتی ہے
1اور مُوسیٰؔ نے ایک کُوؔشی عَورت سے بیاہ کر لِیا۔ سو اُس کُوؔشی عَورت کے سبب سے جِسے مُوسیٰؔ نے بیاہ لِیا تھا مریمؔ اور ہارُونؔ اُس کی بدگوئی کرنے لگے۔ 2وہ کہنے لگے کہ کیا خُداوند نے فقط مُوسیٰؔ ہی سے باتیں کی ہیں؟ کیا اُس نے ہم سے بھی باتیں نہیں کِیں؟ اور خُداوند نے یہ سُنا۔ 3اور مُوسیٰؔ تو رُویِ زمِین کے سب آدمِیوں سے زِیادہ حلِیم تھا۔
4سو خُداوند نے ناگہان مُوسیٰؔ اور ہارُونؔ اور مریمؔ سے کہا کہ تُم تِینوں نِکل کر خَیمۂِ
اِجتماع کے پاس حاضِر ہو۔ سو وہ تِینوں وہاں آئے۔ 5اور خُداوند ابر کے سُتُون میں ہو کر اُترا اور خَیمہ کے دروازہ پر کھڑے ہو کر ہارُونؔ اور مریمؔ کو بُلایا۔ وہ دونوں پاس گئے۔ 6تب اُس نے کہا میری باتیں سُنو۔ اگر تُم میں کوئی نبی ہو تو مَیں جو خُداوند ہُوں اُسے رویا میں دِکھائی دُوں گا اور خواب میں اُس سے باتیں کرُوں گا۔ 7پر میرا خادِم مُوسیٰؔ اَیسا نہیں ہے۔ وہ میرے سارے خاندان میں امانت دار ہے۔ 8مَیں اُس سے مُعمّوں میں نہیں بلکہ رُوبرُو اور صرِیح طَور پر باتیں کرتا ہُوں اور اُسے خُداوند کا دِیدار بھی نصِیب ہوتا ہے۔ سو تُم کو میرے خادِم مُوسیٰؔ کی بدگوئی کرتے خَوف کیوں نہ آیا؟
9اور خُداوند کا غضب اُن پر بھڑکا اور وہ چلا گیا۔
My point of view about above verses
Miriam and Aaron started opposing Moses when he got married to a Cushite woman - & God got angry with both of them - He said, with Moses I talk face to face as He is faithful to me while with prophets I usually spoke in dreams and vision - but this is not the case with Moses so why you are not afraid to speak against Him
It means we can see and talk with God if we become faithful and humble like Moses
Let God give us wisdom to understand his word and help us to apply it in our lives
