Numbers 12 ; verse 10-15
Miriam and Aaron Oppose Moses
10 When the cloud lifted from above the tent, Miriam’s skin was leprous—it became as white as snow. Aaron turned toward her and saw that she had a defiling skin disease, 11 and he said to Moses, “Please, my lord, I ask you not to hold against us the sin we have so foolishly committed. 12 Do not let her be like a stillborn infant coming from its mother’s womb with its flesh half eaten away.”
14 The Lord replied to Moses, “If her father had spit in her face, would she not have been in disgrace for seven days? Confine her outside the camp for seven days; after that she can be brought back.” 15 So Miriam was confined outside the camp for seven days, and the people did not move on till she was brought back.
10اور ابر خَیمہ کے اُوپر سے ہٹ گیا اور مریمؔ کوڑھ سے برف کی مانِند سفید ہو گئی اور ہارُونؔ نے جو مریمؔ کی طرف نظر کی تو دیکھا کہ وہ کوڑھی ہو گئی ہے۔ 11تب ہارُونؔ مُوسیٰؔ سے کہنے لگا ہائے میرے مالِک! اِس گُناہ کو ہمارے سر نہ لگا کیونکہ ہم سے نادانی ہُوئی اور ہم نے خطا کی۔ 12اور مریمؔ کو اُس مَرے ہُوئے کی طرح نہ رہنے دے جِس کا جِسم اُس کی پَیدایش ہی کے وقت آدھا گلا ہُؤا ہوتا ہے۔
13تب مُوسیٰؔ خُداوند سے فریاد کرنے لگا کہ اَے خُدا! مَیں تیری مِنّت کرتا ہُوں اُسے شِفا دے۔
14اور خُداوند نے مُوسیٰؔ سے کہا کہ اگر اُس کے باپ نے اُس کے مُنہ پر فقط تُھوکا
ہی ہوتا تو کیا سات دِن تک وہ شرمِندہ نہ رہتی؟ سو وہ سات دِن تک لشکر گاہ کے باہر بند رہے۔ اِس کے بعد وہ پِھر اندر آنے پائے۔ 15چُنانچہ مریمؔ سات دِن تک لشکر گاہ کے باہر بند رہی اور لوگوں نے جب تک وہ اندر آنے نہ پائی کُوچ نہ کِیا۔
My point of view about above verses
Miriam and Aaron started opposing Moses when he got married to a Cushite woman - & God got angry with both of them - He said, with Moses I talk face to face as He is faithful to me while with prophets I usually spoke in dreams and vision - but this is not the case with Moses so why you are not afraid to speak against Him - & God struck Miriam with Leprosy and Moses ask for forgiveness but God said its a disgrace for her as if a father insults her daughter and she remains embarrass for 7-days so she should be punished for that - so let her be outside the camp for 7- days as all lepers used to be.
It means we can see and talk with God if we become faithful and humble like Moses - and also we need to be respectful towards people chosen by God as His messengers to mankind
Let God give us wisdom to understand His word and help us to apply it in our lives
