Numbers 15 ; verse 32-36
The Sabbath-Breaker Put to Death
32 While the Israelites were in the wilderness, a man was found gathering wood on the Sabbath day. 33 Those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses and Aaron and the whole assembly, 34 and they kept him in custody, because it was not clear what should be done to him. 35 Then the Lord said to Moses, “The man must die. The whole assembly must stone him outside the camp.” 36 So the assembly took him outside the camp and stoned him to death, as the Lord commanded Moses.
وہ آدمی جِس نے سبت کی خِلاف ورزی کی
32اور جب بنی اِسرائیل بیابان میں رہتے تھے اُن دِنوں ایک آدمی اُن کو سبت کے دِن لکڑیاں جمع کرتا ہُؤا مِلا۔ 33اور جِن کو وہ لکڑیاں جمع کرتا ہُؤا مِلا وہ اُسے مُوسیٰؔ اور ہارُونؔ اور ساری جماعت کے پاس لے گئے۔ 34اُنہوں نے اُسے حوالات میں رکھّا کیونکہ اُن کو یہ نہیں بتایا گیا تھا کہ اُس کے ساتھ کیا کرنا چاہئے۔ 35تب خُداوند نے مُوسیٰؔ سے کہا کہ یہ شخص ضرُور جان سے مارا جائے۔ ساری جماعت لشکر گاہ کے باہر اُسے سنگسار کرے۔ 36چُنانچہ جَیسا خُداوند نے مُوسیٰؔ کو حُکم دِیا تھا اُس کے مُطابِق ساری جماعت نے اُسے لشکر گاہ کے باہر لے جا کر سنگسار کِیا اور وہ مَر گیا۔
My point of view about above verses
If a person fails to keep Sabbath Day then that person put to death - an example set by God so that people fear Him and keep his commandments- Everyone loves life and if it is in danger people will avoid from all activities which put their life in risk - God knows human nature and He himself put in us love for life- We only trust that whatever commandments He gave its for our benefit so that we can reach to full potential of LIFE in us
Let God give us wisdom to understand His word and help us to apply it in our lives
