Tassels on Garments
37 The Lord said to Moses, 38 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘Throughout the generations to come you are to make tassels on the corners of your garments, with a blue cord on each tassel. 39 You will have these tassels to look at and so you will remember all the commands of the Lord, that you may obey them and not prostitute yourselves by chasing after the lusts of your own hearts and eyes. 40 Then you will remember to obey all my commands and will be consecrated to your God. 41 I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt to be your God. I am the Lord your God.’”
7 خداوند نے موسیٰ سے کہا۔ 38 “بنی اسرا ئیلیوں سے باتیں کرو اور اُن سے یہ کہو : دھاگے کے کئی ٹکڑوں کو ایک ساتھ باندھ کر انہیں اپنے لباس کے کو نے پر باندھو۔ ایک نیلے رنگ کا دھا گا ہر ایک ایسی گچھو ں میں ڈالو تم انہیں اب سے ہمیشہ کیلئے پہنو گے۔ 39 تم لوگ اُن گچھوں کو دیکھتے رہو گے اور خداوند کے تمام احکام کو یاد رکھو گے۔ اور انکی تعمیل کرو گے۔ اور تم اپنے جسم اور آنکھو ں کی خواہشوں کے سبب زناکاری کے گناہو ں کی وجہ سے گمراہ نہیں ہو گے۔ 40 تم ہمارے سبھی احکامات کو یاد رکھو گے اور اس پر عمل کرو گے۔ اور تم اپنے خدا کے لئے مقدس رہو گے۔ 41 میں خداوند تمہا را خدا ہوں۔ وہ میں ہوں جو تمہیں مصر سے باہر لا یا۔ تا کہ میں تمہا را خدا ٹھہروں۔ میں خداوند تمہا را خدا ہوں
My point of view about above verses
God told Moses tell Israelites to make decoration / fringes on the corners of your garments with blue cord – so that whenever you look to those tassels you will remember my commandments and obey me & don’t follow the lusts of your heart and eyes.
God knows human nature that we can forget so tells people to do some particular practices so that whenever we do or look - we remember we are God's people & we have to avoid sinfulness and obey Him
We only trust that whatever commandments He gave its for our benefit so that we can reach to full potential of LIFE in us
Let God give us wisdom to understand His word and help us to apply it in our lives
