Numbers 19 ; verse 1-10
The Water of Cleansing
The Lord said to Moses and Aaron: 2 “This is a requirement of the law that the Lord has commanded: Tell the Israelites to bring you a red heifer without defect or blemish and that has never been under a yoke. 3 Give it to Eleazar the priest; it is to be taken outside the camp and slaughtered in his presence. 4 Then Eleazar the priest is to take some of its blood on his finger and sprinkle it seven times toward the front of the tent of meeting. 5 While he watches, the heifer is to be burned—its hide, flesh, blood and intestines. 6 The priest is to take some cedar wood, hyssop and scarlet wool and throw them onto the burning heifer. 7 After that, the priest must wash his clothes and bathe himself with water. He may then come into the camp, but he will be ceremonially unclean till evening. 8 The man who burns it must also wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he too will be unclean till evening.
9 “A man who is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer and put them in a ceremonially clean place outside the camp. They are to be kept by the Israelite community for use in the water of cleansing; it is for purification from sin. 10 The man who gathers up the ashes of the heifer must also wash his clothes, and he too will be unclean till evening. This will be a lasting ordinance both for the Israelites and for the foreigners residing among them.
19 خداوند نے موسیٰ اور ہا رون سے بات کی اُس نے کہا ، 2 “یہ شریعت اور قانون ہے جسکا خداوند بنی اسرا ئیلیوں کو حکم دیتا ہے کہ انہیں بے عیب ایک لال گا ئے لینی چا ہئے۔ اُس گائے کو کو ئی کھروچ بھی نہیں لگی ہو نی چا ہئے اور اُس گا ئے کے کندھے پر کبھی جوا نہیں رکھا گیا ہو۔ 3 ایسی گا ئے کاہن الیعزر کو دو۔ الیعزر گا ئے کو چھا ؤنی سے باہر لے جا ئے گا اور وہ وہاں اسے ذبح کریگا۔ 4 تب کا ہن الیعزر کو اس کا تھو ڑا خون اپنی انگلیوں پر لگانا چا ہئے۔ اور اسے تھو ڑا خون مقدّس خیمہ کی جانب چھڑکنا چا ہئے اسے یہ سات بار کر نا چا ہئے۔ 5 تب پو ری گا ئے کو اس کے سامنے چمڑا گوشت خون اور گو بر سمیت جلانی چا ہئے۔ 6 تب کا ہن کو دیودار کی لکڑی اور ایک زوفا کی شاخ اور لال رنگ کا کپڑا لینا چا ہئے۔ کا ہن کو اِن چیزوں کو اُس آ گ میں ڈالنا چا ہئے جس میں گا ئے جل رہی ہو۔ 7 تب کا ہن کو اپنے آپ کو اور اپنے کپڑوں کو پانی سے دھو نا چاہئے اور پھر اسے خیمہ میں واپس آنا چا ہئے۔ کا ہن شام تک ناپاک رہے گا۔ 8 جو آدمی گا ئے کو جلا ئے اسے اپنے آپ کو اور اپنے لباس کو پانی سے دھونا چا ہئے وہ شام تک ناپاک رہے گا۔
9 “تب ایک مرد جو پاک ہے گا ئے کی راکھ جمع کرے گا وہ اس راکھ کو چھا ؤنی کے باہر ایک پاک جگہ پر رکھے گا۔ یہ را کھ اس وقت استعمال میں آئے گی جب لوگ اپنے آپ کی لا شوں کے سبب سے ہو ئی ناپا کی کو پاک کریں گے۔ یہ گناہ کا نذرانہ ہے۔
10 “وہ آدمی جس نے گا ئے کی را کھ کو جمع کیا۔ اپنے کپڑوں کو دھو ئے گا وہ شام تک ناپاک رہے گا۔
My point of view about above verses
Eleazar the priest has to take some of blood of red heifer (without defect & never under yoke and slaughtered in his presence) and sprinkle it 7 times towards the front of tent of meeting. While he watches its burned priest has to throw some cedar wood, hyssop and scarlet wool on burning heifer. After that priest and the man who burned the heifer have to wash their clothes and bathe themselves with water, after that they may come into the camp- but they will remain unclean till evening.
A clean man shall gather up the ashes and put it at clean place outside the camp – This ash will be used in the water of cleansing for purification of sins. The one who gathers the ashes also wash its clothes and remain unclean till evening. This is lasting ordinance for Israelites community and for foreigners residing among them
God told how to make water for cleansing which purify from sins
Let God give us wisdom to understand His word and help us to apply it in our lives
