Numbers 20 ; verse 23- 26
23 At Mount Hor, near the border of Edom, the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, 24 “Aaron will be gathered to his people. He will not enter the land I give the Israelites, because both of you rebelled against my command at the waters of Meribah. 25 Get Aaron and his son Eleazar and take them up Mount Hor. 26 Remove Aaron’s garments and put them on his son Eleazar, for Aaron will be gathered to his people; he will die there.”
3 ہور پہا ڑ ادوم کی سرحد پر تھا۔خداوند نے موسیٰ اور ہا رون سے کہا۔ 24 “ہا رون کو اپنے آباء و اجداد کے ساتھ جا نا ہو گا یہ اس ملک میں نہیں جا ئے گا جسے دینے کیلئے میں نے بنی اسرا ئیلیوں سے وعدہ کیا ہے۔ موسیٰ ! میں تم سے یہ کہتا ہو ں کیوں کہ تم اور ہا رون نے مریبہ کے پانی کے بارے میں میرے دیئے گئے حکم کی پو ری طرح تعمیل نہیں کی۔
25 “ہا رون اور اس کے بیٹے الیعزر کو ہور پہاڑ پر لا ؤ۔ 26 ہا رون کے خاص لباس کو اس سے لے لو اور اس لباس کو اس کے بیٹے الیعزر کو پہنا ؤ۔ ہا رون وہاں پہا ڑ پر وفات پا ئینگے اور وہ اپنے آباء واجداد کے ساتھ ہو جا ئیں گے۔”
My point of view about above verses
God became angry with Aaron and Moses as he told them to speak to the rock instead He struck the rock and they didn't praise God and didn't trust him and honor him as holy in the sight of Israelites – so he told them you will not bring this community into the land I gave them
God told Moses that Aaron will die at Mount Hor and gathered to his people. He will not enter the land I will give to Israelites because both of you rebelled against my command at water of Meribah. So take Aaron and his son Eleazar at mount remove Aaron garments and put them on his son. And Aaron will die there and gathered to his people.
We need to obey God exactly as He wants us and should not put our own insight into matters He handling himself for us
Let God give us wisdom to understand His word and help us to apply it in our lives
