The Bronze Snake
8 The Lord said to Moses, “Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.” 9 So Moses made a bronze snake and put it up on a pole. Then when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze snake, they lived
8 خداوند نے موسیٰ سے کہا ، “ایک کانسہ کا سانپ بنا ؤ اور اسے ایک اونچے ڈنڈے پر رکھو۔ اگر کسی آدمی کو سانپ کا ٹے تواس آدمی کو ڈنڈے کے اوپر کانسہ کے سانپ کو دیکھنا چا ہئے۔ تب وہ آدمی نہیں مرے گا۔” 9 اس لئے موسیٰ نے خداوند کی مرضی مانی اور ایک کانسہ کا سانپ بنا یا اور اسے ایک ڈنڈے پر رکھا۔ پھر جب کسی آدمی کو سانپ کا ٹتا تھا تو وہ ڈنڈے کے اوپر کے سانپ کو دیکھتا تھا اور زندہ رہتا تھا۔
My point of view about above verses
People complained and speak against Moses and God so God send snakes who bit the people and many Israelites died. Then people came to Moses and told that we sinned against you and God – pray to God so he take away these snakes from us and Moses prayed
God told Moses make a bronze snake and put it on pole – anyone who is bitten by snake and look to this bronze snake will be saved
if we complain God may get angry and result is suffering - so never complain but be thankful as He is our provider and knows exactly what is our real requirements - God can save us by looking to an image only - like He told Moses to make a bronze snake and who ever look towards it will be saved
Let God give us wisdom to understand His word and help us to apply it in our lives
