Numbers 22 ; verse 10-13
Balak Summons Balaam
10 Balaam said to God, “Balak son of Zippor, king of Moab, sent me this message: 11 ‘A people that has come out of Egypt covers the face of the land. Now come and put a curse on them for me. Perhaps then I will be able to fight them and drive them away.’”
12 But God said to Balaam, “Do not go with them. You must not put a curse on those people, because they are blessed.”
13 The next morning Balaam got up and said to Balak’s officials, “Go back to your own country, for the Lord has refused to let me go with you.”
10 بلعام نے خدا سے کہا ، “موآب کے بادشا ہ صفور کا بیٹا بلق نے انہیں مجھ کو ایک پیغام دینے کو بھیجا ہے۔ 11 پیغام یہ ہے : لوگوں کی ایک نئی قوم مصر سے آئی ہے۔ وہ تعداد میں اتنی زیادہ ہے کہ تمام ملک میں پھیل سکتی ہے۔ اس لئے آؤ اور میرے لئے ان پر لعنت کرو۔ تب ممکن ہے کہ ان سے لڑنے میں میں کامیاب ہو سکوں۔ اور اپنے ملک کو چھو ڑنے کیلئے اُن پر دباؤ ڈال سکوں۔”
12 لیکن خدا نے بلعام سے کہا، “اُن کے ساتھ مت جا ؤ۔ تمہیں ان لوگوں پر لعنت نہیں کرنی چا ہئے۔ کیونکہ ان پر میرا فضل و کرم ہے۔”
13 دوسرے دن صبح بلعام اُٹھا اور بلق کے قائدین سے کہا ، “اپنے ملک کو وا پس جا ؤ۔ خداوند مجھے تمہا رے ساتھ جانے نہیں دیگا۔”
My point of view about above verses
God asked Balaam (a non -Israelite prophet) who are these men with you - He told they are sent by king of Moab to curse Israelites
God told Balaam, don’t go with people of Moab as their king want you to curse Israelites, Don’t do this as they are blessed people
Not only the kingdom of worlds are in God hands but all the people and He can use anyone as He wants to
Let God give us wisdom to understand His word and help us to apply it in our lives
