Numbers 22 ; verse 14-20
Balak Summons Balaam
14 So the Moabite officials returned to Balak and said, “Balaam refused to come with us.”
15 Then Balak sent other officials, more numerous and more distinguished than the first. 16 They came to Balaam and said:
“This is what Balak son of Zippor says: Do not let anything keep you from coming to me, 17 because I will reward you handsomely and do whatever you say. Come and put a curse on these people for me.” 18 But Balaam answered them, “Even if Balak gave me all the silver and gold in his palace, I could not do anything great or small to go beyond the command of the Lord my God. 19 Now spend the night here so that I can find out what else the Lord will tell me.”
20 That night God came to Balaam and said, “Since these men have come to summon you, go with them, but do only what I tell you.”
14 اس لئے موآبی قا ئدین بلق کے پاس وا پس گئے اور اس سے انہوں نے یہ باتیں کیں۔ انہوں نے کہا ، “بلعام نے ہم لوگوں کے ساتھ آنے سے انکار کردیا۔”
15 اس لئے بلق نے دوسرے قائدین کو بلعام کے پاس بھیجا اُس بار اُس نے پہلی بار کے مقابلہ میں بہت زیادہ آدمی بھیجے اور یہ قائد پہلی بار کے قائدین کے مقابلہ میں بہت زیادہ اہم تھے۔ 16 وہ بلعام کے پاس گئے اور انہوں نے اس سے کہا ، “صفور کا بیٹا بلق تم سے کہتا ہے : مہربانی کر کے اپنے کو یہاں آنے سے کسی کو روکنے نہ دو۔ 17 جو میں تم سے مانگتا ہوں اگر تم وہ کروگے تو میں تمہیں بہت زیادہ معاوضہ دونگا۔ آؤ ان لوگوں پر لعنت کرو اور میری مدد کرو۔”
18 لیکن بلعام نے اُن لوگوں کو جواب دیا اس نے کہا ، “مجھے خداوند اپنے خدا کا حکم ماننا چا ہئے۔ میں اس کے حکم کے خلا ف کچھ نہیں کر سکتا۔ میں بڑا چھو ٹا کچھ بھی اس وقت تک نہیں کر سکتا جب تک خداوند نہیں کہتا کہ اگر بادشا ہ بلق اپنے سونے چاندی بھرے خوبصورت گھر دے تو بھی اپنے خداوند کے خلا ف کچھ نہیں کرو ں گا۔ 19 لیکن تم بھی ان دوسرے لوگوں کی طرح آج کی رات یہاں ٹھہر سکتے ہو اور میں رات میں معلوم کروں گا کہ وہ مجھے اور کچھ کہتا ہے۔ ”
20 اس رات خدا بلعام کے پاس آیا۔ خدا نے کہا ، “یہ
لو گ تمہیں اپنے ساتھ لے جانے کے لئے پھر سے بُلانے آ گئے ہیں۔ اس لئے تم ان کے ساتھ جا سکتے ہو لیکن تم صرف وہی کرو جو میں تم سے کرنے کو کہوں۔ ”
My point of view about above verses
God asked Balaam (a non -Israelite prophet) who are these men with you - He told they are sent by king of Moab to curse Israelites
God told Balaam, don’t go with people of Moab as their king want you to curse Israelites, Don’t do this as they are blessed people
When Balak summon Balam second time to curse Israelites – God allow him to go with him but told him to do only what God will tell him to do or say
Not only the kingdom of worlds are in God hands but all the people and He can use anyone as He wants to
Let God give us wisdom to understand His word and help us to apply it in our lives
