Numbers 22 ; verse 36-41
Balak Summons Balaam
36 When Balak heard that Balaam was coming, he went out to meet him at the Moabite town on the Arnon border, at the edge of his territory. 37 Balak said to Balaam, “Did I not send you an urgent summons? Why didn’t you come to me? Am I really not able to reward you?” 38 “Well, I have come to you now,” Balaam replied. “But I can’t say whatever I please. I must speak only what God puts in my mouth.” Then Balaam went with Balak to Kiriath Huzoth. 40 Balak sacrificed cattle and sheep, and gave some to Balaam and the officials who were with him. 41 The next morning Balak took Balaam up to Bamoth Baal, and from there he could see the outskirts of the Israelite camp.
36 بلق نے سُنا کہ بلعام آرہا ہے اس لئے بلق اس سے ملنے کے لئے ارنون کی سرحد پر موآبی شہر کو گیا۔ یہ اس کے ملک کا کو نہ تھا۔ 37 جب بلق نے بلعام کو دیکھا تو اس نے بلعام سے کہا ، “میں نے اس سے پہلے تم کو آنے کیلئے کہا تھا اور یہ بھی بتا یا تھا کہ یہ انتہا ئی اہم ہے۔ تم ہمارے پاس کیوں نہیں آئے ؟ کیا یہ سچ ہے کہ میں تجھے معاوضہ یا انعام دینے کے قابل نہیں ہوں؟ ”
38 لیکن بلعام نے جواب دیا ، “میں اب تمہا رے پاس آیا ہو ں۔ لیکن میں ڈرتا ہوں کہ میں شاید وہ نہ کر سکوں جو تم مجھ سے کرنے کی امید رکھتے ہو۔ میں صرف وہی باتیں تم سے کہہ سکتا ہوں جو خداوند خدا مجھ سے کہنے کو کہتا ہے ”
39 تب بلعام بلق کے ساتھ قرئیہ حصریت کو گیا
40 بلق نے کچھ مویشی اور کچھ بھیڑ قربانی کے لئے ذبح کئے۔ اس نے کچھ گوشت بلعام اور کچھ اس کے ساتھ کے قائدین کو دیا۔
41 اگلی صبح بلق بلعام کو باما ت بعل شہر کو لے گیا۔ اس جگہ سے وہ بنی اسرا ئیلیوں کی چھا ؤنی کے سب سے نزدیکی حصّے کو دیکھ سکتے تھے۔
My point of view about above verses
God asked Balaam (a non -Israelite prophet) who are these men with you - He told they are sent by king of Moab to curse Israelites
God told Balaam, don’t curse Israelites as they are blessed people and told him to do only what God will tell him to do or say
Not only the kingdom of worlds are in God hands but all the people and He can use anything as He wants to - as He is the creator - Let ask God to be merciful - Let ask Him to guide us in all spheres of our lives - so that we only say and do what he wants us to do
Let God give us wisdom to understand His word and help us to apply it in our lives
