Numbers 28 ; verse 16- 25
The Passover
16 “‘On the fourteenth day of the first month the Lord’s Passover is to be held. 17 On the fifteenth day of this month there is to be a festival; for seven days eat bread made without yeast. 18 On the first day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work. 19 Present to the Lord a food offering consisting of a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram and seven male lambs a year old, all without defect. 20 With each bull offer a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with oil; with the ram, two-tenths; 21 and with each of the seven lambs, one-tenth. 22 Include one male goat as a sin offering to make atonement for you. 23 Offer these in addition to the regular morning burnt offering. 24 In this way present the food offering every day for seven days as an aroma pleasing to the Lord; it is to be offered in addition to the regular burnt offering and its drink offering. 25 On the seventh day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.
فسح کی تقریب
16 “پہلے مہینے کے چودہویں دن خداوند کے اعزاز میں فسح کی تقریب ہو گی۔ 17 اس مہینے کے پندرہویں دن بے خمیری روٹی کی دعوت شروع ہو تی ہے یہ تقریب سات دن تک رہتی ہے۔ تم وہی رو ٹی کھا سکتے ہو جو بے خمیری ہو۔ 18 اس تقریب کے پہلے دن تمہیں خاص اجلاس بلانی ہو گی۔ اس دن تم کو ئی کام نہیں کر و گے۔ 19 تم خداوندکو تحفے پیش کر و گے۔ یہ جلانے کی قربانی دو بیل ، ایک مینڈھا اور ایک سال کے ۷ میمنے کی ہو گی۔ سبھی بے عیب ہو نگے۔ 20-21 ہر ایک بیل کے ساتھ زیتون کے تیل سے ملے ہو ئے ۶ کوارٹ اچھے آ ٹے ، مینڈھے کے ساتھ زیتون کے تیل سے ملے ہو ئے ۴ کوارٹ اچھے آٹے اور ہر ایک میمنے کے ساتھ دوکوارٹ زیتون کے تیل سے ملے ہو ئے عمدہ آٹے اناج کی قربانی کے طور پر پیش کرنی چا ہئے۔ 22 تمہیں ایک بکرا بھی دینا چاہئے۔وہ بکرا تمہا رے لئے گناہ کی قربانی ہو گا۔ یہ تمہا رے گناہ کو مٹا ئے گا۔ 23 تم لوگوں کو وہ قربانیاں ان قربانیوں کے علا وہ دینی چا ہئے جو تم ہر سویرے جلانے کی قربانی کے طور پر دیتے ہو۔
24 “اسی طرح تمہیں سات دن تک تحفہ پیش کرنا چا ہئے۔ یہ خداوند کے لئے خوشگوار خوشبو ہے۔ تمہیں یہ نذر جلانے کی قربانی کے علا وہ دینی چا ہئے جو تم ہر روز مئے کی قربانی کے ساتھ دیتے ہو۔
25 “تب فسح کی تقریب کے ساتویں دن تم ایک خاص اجلاس بُلا ؤ گے اور اس دن تم کو ئی کام نہیں کر وگے۔
My point of view about above verses
Lord told Moses that on 14th day hold Passover and on 15th day there is festival. For seven days you have to eat bread without yeast. On first day hold sacred assembly and do no regular work , Offer Lord a food offering consisting of burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram and seven male lambs a year old without defect. With each bull there is grain offering of three tenths of an ephah of finest flour mixed with oil, with ram two tenth and with each of the seven lamb – one tenth
Also offer one male goat as sin offering, In this way present food offering every day for seven days as an aroma pleasing to the Lord. It is to be in addition to regular burnt offering and its drink offering. On 7th day also hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work
Ephah ---an ancient Hebrew dry measure equivalent to the bath (of about 40 liters or 9 gallons
Hin--- a Hebrew unit of liquid capacity equal to approximately 5 liters (about one gallon).
God need offerings from us for Him - Although He is the one who is provider of everything but make us worthy to offer Him from his blessings bestowed upon us in different forms
Only listening is not which works with God rather to obey Him,
Let God give us wisdom to understand His word and help us to apply it in our lives
