Boundaries of Canaan
The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Command the Israelites and say to them: ‘When you enter Canaan, the land that will be allotted to you as an inheritance is to have these boundaries:
Your southern side
3 “‘Your southern side will include some of the Desert of Zin along the border of Edom. Your southern boundary will start in the east from the southern end of the Dead Sea, 4 cross south of Scorpion Pass, continue on to Zin and go south of Kadesh Barnea. Then it will go to Hazar Addar and over to Azmon, 5 where it will turn, join the Wadi of Egypt and end at the Mediterranean Sea.
کنعان کی سرحدیں
34 خدا وند نے موسیٰ سے بات کی اس نے کہا، “ 2 بنی اسرا ئیلیوں کو یہ حکم دو : تم لوگ ملک کنعان میں آ رہے ہو۔ جب تم کنعان میں آؤ گے ، تم پو رے ملک پر قبضہ کر لو گے جس کی یہ سرحد ہو گی : 3 جنوب میں تم لوگ ایدوم کے قریب صین ریگستان کا حصّہ حا صل کر و گے۔ تمہا ری جنوبی سرحد مردہ سمندر کے مشرقی کنارے سے شروع ہو گی۔ 4 یہ بچھو ؤں کی راہ ( اسکا ر پین پاس) کے جنوب سے گذرے گی۔ یہ صین ریگستان سے ہو کر قادِس برنیع تک جا ئے گی۔ اور پھر حصر ادّار اور تب یہ عضمُون سے گذرے گی۔ 5 عضمُون سے سر حد مصر کی ندی تک جا ئے گی اور اس کا آ خر بحر روم پر ہو گا۔
My point of view about above verses
God told Moses tell Israelites when you enter Canaan – you need to occupy whole land- God told four boundaries of promised land; southern, western, northern and Eastern
Only listening is not which works with God rather to obey what He commands,
Let God give us wisdom to understand His word and help us to apply it in our lives
