Numbers 35 ; verse 6-8

Cities of Refuge

6 “Six of the towns you give the Levites will be cities of refuge, to which a person who has killed someone may flee. In addition, give them forty-two other towns. 7 In all you must give the Levites forty-eight towns, together with their pasturelands. 8 The towns you give the Levites from the land the Israelites possess are to be given in proportion to the inheritance of each tribe: Take many towns from a tribe that has many, but few from one that has few.”

6 سبھی شہروں میں یہ چھ شہر پناہ کے شہر ہوں گے۔ اگر کو ئی شخص کسی کو اتفا قاً مار ڈالتا ہے تو وہ قتل کرنے وا لا ان شہروں میں بھا گ کر جا سکتا ہے اور محفوط پناہ کھو ج سکتا ہے۔ ان چھ شہروں کے علا وہ تم کو ۴۲ دوسرے شہر لا وی لوگوں کو دینے ہو نگے۔ 7 اس طرح تم لا وی نسلوں کو ۴۸ شہر دو گے۔ تم ان شہرں و کے چا روں طرف کی زمین بھی دو گے۔ 8 اسرا ئیل کے بڑے خاندان زمین کے بڑے حصّہ دیں گے اسرا ئیل کے چھو ٹے خاندان زمین کے چھو ٹے حصّے دیں گے۔ سب خاندانی گروہ لا وی نسلوں کو اپنی میراث سے کچھ شہر لا ویوں کو دینگے۔”

My point of view about above verses

God told Moses tell Israelites to give pastureland around the towns to Levites so that they can live in towns and pastureland for the cattle they own – and assign this land to Levites as 2000 cubits on east, west, north & south sides of the town

Six towns which you give to Levites will be cities of refuge- a city where a person can flee if he killed someone. In addition give them another 42 towns so in total give them 48 towns together with their pasturelands. The towns you give the Levites from the towns from the land the Israelites possess are to be given in proportion to the inheritance of each tribe. Take many towns rom tribe who have many and less from a trice who has less

Cubits : any of various ancient units of length based on the length of the forearm from the elbow to the tip of the middle finger and usually equal to about 18 inches (46 centimeters)

God tells each and every details to the people he cares and loves, God gave 6 towns for people who commit unintentional murder till the matter resolved - Look How kind and caring He is

Only listening is not which works with God rather to obey what He commands,

Let God give us wisdom to understand His word and help us to apply it in our lives
