Deuteronomy 2 ; verse 2- 6
2 Then the Lord said to me, 3 “You have made your way around this hill country long enough; now turn north. 4 Give the people these orders: ‘You are about to pass through the territory of your relatives the descendants of Esau, who live in Seir. They will be afraid of you, but be very careful. 5 Do not provoke them to war, for I will not give you any of their land, not even enough to put your foot on. I have given Esau the hill country of Seir as his own. 6 You are to pay them in silver for the food you eat and the water you drink.’”
2 تب خداوند نے مجھ سے کہا ، 3 “تم اس پہا ڑی ملک سے ہو کرکا فی عرصہ تک چل چکے ہو اب شمال کی طرف مڑ جا ؤ۔ 4 اور اس نے مجھے تم سے یہ کہنے کو کہا : تم ملک شعیر سے ہوکر گذروگے۔ یہ ملک تم لوگوں کے رشتہ دار عیسا ؤ کی نسلوں کا ہے۔ وہ تم سے ڈریں گے بہت ہو شیار رہو۔ 5 ان سے مت لڑو۔ میں ان کی کو ئی بھی زمین ایک فُٹ بھی تم کو نہیں دو ں گا۔ کیوں؟ کیوں کہ میں نے عیسا ؤ کو شعیر کا پہاڑی ملک اس کے قبضے میں دے دیا۔ 6 تمہیں عیساؤ کے لوگوں کو وہاں پر کھانا کھانے یا پانی پینے کی قیمت دینی چا ہئے۔
My point of view about above verses
God told Moses when you pass from hill country of Seir, don’t provoke them to war as I have given this land to your relative Esau. You have to pay them in silver for food and drinks which you eat in their land
God wants us to take care of our relatives, Let God give us wisdom to understand his word and apply it in our lives - As this is the Word of God through which we recognize Him
