Deuteronomy 2 ; verse 24-31
Defeat of Sihon King of Heshbon
24 “Set out now and cross the Arnon Gorge. See, I have given into your hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his country. Begin to take possession of it and engage him in battle. 25 This very day I will begin to put the terror and fear of you on all the nations under heaven. They will hear reports of you and will tremble and be in anguish because of you.”
31 The Lord said to me, “See, I have begun to deliver Sihon and his country over to you. Now begin to conquer and possess his land.”
اموریوں کی لڑا ئی
24 “خداوند نے مجھ سے کہا، ’سفر کیلئے تیار ہو جا ؤ۔ ارنون دریا کی وادی سے ہو کر جا ؤ میں تمہیں حسبون کے بادشا ہ اموری سیحون پر فتح کی طا قت دے رہا ہو ں میں تمہیں اس کا ملک فتح کرنے کی طا قت دے رہا ہوں اس لئے اس کے خلاف لڑو اور اس کے ملک پر قبضہ کرنا شروع کرو۔ 25 آج میں تمہیں ساری دنیا کے لوگوں کو ڈرانے وا لا بنا ناشروع کر رہا ہوں وہ تمہا رے متعلق خبر سنیں گے اور خوف سے کانپ اٹھیں گے۔ جب وہ تمہا رے متعلق سو چیں گے تو وہ گھبرا جا ئیں گے۔‘
31 “خدا وند نے مجھ سے کہا، ’میں بادشاہ سیحون اور اُس کے ملک کو تمہیں دے رہا ہوں زمین لینا شروع کرو یہ پھر تمہاری ہوگی۔‘
My point of view about above verses
God told Moses take possession of land of Heshbon rule by Sihon king by engaging him in a battle- This vary day I will begin to put the terror and fear of you on all the nations under heaven . They will tremble because of your reports
World and its kingdoms belongs to God and He gave whom He wants to give
Let God give us wisdom to understand His word and apply it in our lives - As this is the Word of God through which we recognize Him
