Deuteronomy 3 ; verse 1-2
Defeat of Og King of Bashan
Next we turned and went up along the road toward Bashan, and Og king of Bashan with his whole army marched out to meet us in battle at Edrei. 2 The Lord said to me, “Do not be afraid of him, for I have delivered him into your hands, along with his whole army and his land. Do to him what you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon.”
بسن کے لوگوں کے ساتھ جنگ
3 “ہم پلٹے اور بسن کو جانے وا لی سڑک پر چلتے رہے۔ بسن کا بادشا ہ عوج اور اس کے تمام لوگ ہم لوگوں کے خلاف ادرعی میں لڑنے آئے۔ 2 خداوند نے مجھ سے کہا، ’عوج سے نہ ڈرو کیو ں کہ میں نے اسے تمہا رے ہاتھ میں دینے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے میں ا سکے تمام لوگوں اور زمین کو تمہیں دوں گا تم اسے اسی طرح شکست دو گے جیسے تم نے حسبون کے حاکم اموری بادشا ہ سیحون کو شکست دی تھی۔‘
My point of view about above verses
God told Moses take possession of land of Heshbon rule by Sihon king by engaging him in a battle- This vary day I will begin to put the terror and fear of you on all the nations under heaven . They will tremble because of your reports
God handed over land of Bashan and told us to fight as I have delivered whole army and land of king Og of Bashan – Do them the same as you did with Sihon king of Amorites
World and its kingdoms belongs to God and He gave whom He wants to give
Let God give us wisdom to understand His word and apply it in our lives - As this is the Word of God through which we recognize Him
