Deuteronomy 7 ; verse 7-10
7 The Lord did not set his affection on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples. 8 But it was because the Lord loved you and kept the oath he swore to your ancestors that he brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the land of slavery, from the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt. 9 Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments. 10 But those who hate him he will repay to their face by destruction; he will not be slow to repay to their face those who hate him.
7 خداوند تم سے کیوں محبت کر تا ہے اور اس نے تمہیں کیوں چُنا ؟ اس لئے نہیں کہ دوسرے لوگوں کے مقابلے میں تمہا ری تعداد بہت زیادہ ہو۔ تم سب لوگوں میں سے کم تھے۔ 8 لیکن خداوند تم کو اپنی بڑی قدرت کے ذریعہ مصر کے باہر لا یا اس نے تمہیں غلامی سے نجات دلا ئی اس نے مصر کے بادشا ہ فرعون کے چنُگل سے آزا د کیا کیوں؟ کیوں کہ خداوند تم سے محبت کر تا ہے اور تمہا رے آ با ء و اجداد کو دیئے گئے وعدے کو پورا کر نا چاہتا تھا۔ 9 “اس لئے یاد رکھو خداوند تمہا را خدا ہی صرف خدا ہے۔ اور ایک وہی ہے جس پر تم بھروسہ کر سکو ! وہ اپنے معاہدہ کا وفادار اُن تمام لوگوں سے محبت کرتا ہے اور ان پر رحم کرتا ہے جو اس سے محبت کرتے ہیں اور اس کے احکاما ت کی تعمیل کرتے ہیں۔ وہ ہزا ر نسلوں تک محبت اور رحم کرتا رہتا ہے۔ 10 لیکن خداوند ان لوگوں کو سزاد یتا ہے جو اس سے نفرت کرتے ہیں وہ ان کو تبا ہ کرے گا۔ وہ اُس آدمی کو سز ادینے میں دیر نہیں کرے گا جو اس سے نفرت کر تا ہو۔
My point of view about above verses
God chose you not because you are more in number or few but only he loved you and to keep the oath he swore to your ancestors- So you has to be faithful to him who keep his covenant of love with thousand generations who love him and those who hate Him destroy them
If we remain faithful to God, He will never abandons us
Let God give us wisdom to understand His word and apply it in our lives - As this is the Word of God through which we recognize Him
