Deuteronomy 19 ; verse 11-13
11 But if out of hate someone lies in wait, assaults and kills a neighbor, and then flees to one of these cities, 12 the killer shall be sent for by the town elders, be brought back from the city, and be handed over to the avenger of blood to die. 13 Show no pity. You must purge from Israel the guilt of shedding innocent blood, so that it may go well with you.
11 “لیکن ایک آدمی کسی سے نفرت کر سکتا ہے وہ آدمی اس آدمی کو مارنے کے انتظار میں چھپ سکتا ہے جس سے وہ نفرت کرتا ہے۔ وہ اس آدمی کو مار سکتا ہے اور حفاظت کے لئے چنے ان شہروں میں بھا گ کر پہنچ سکتا ہے۔ 12 اگر ایسا ہو تا ہے تو اس کے شہر کے بزرگوں کو کچھ لوگوں کو اس شخص کو محفوظ شہر سے لا نے کے لئے بھیجنا چا ہئے۔ تب شہر کے بزرگ اسے اس رشتہ داروں کو دیں گے جس کا فرض اس کو سزا دینی ہے۔ قاتل کو موت کی سزا دینی چا ہئے۔ 13 اس کے لئے تمہیں رنجیدہ نہیں ہو نا چا ہئے تمہیں بے قصور لوگوں کو مار نے کے قصور سے اسرا ئیل کو پاک رکھنا چا ہئے تب سب کچھ تمہا رے لئے اچھا رہے گا۔
My point of view about above verses
If a man kills a person intentionally and if he flee to cities of refuge and try to escape his life then killer should be sent back by town elders and handed over to avenger of blood to die- you should not show any pity – By this way you will eliminate guilt of shedding innocent blood in your land and every thing will go well with you
Innocent Blood pollute the land so God does not want that, the person who shed innocent blood deserve to die - this is nip the evil in the bud
Let God give us wisdom to understand His word and apply it in our lives - As this is the Word of God through which we recognize Him
