Deuteronomy 21 ; verse 18-21
A Rebellious Son
18 If someone has a stubborn and rebellious son who does not obey his father and mother and will not listen to them when they discipline him, 19 his father and mother shall take hold of him and bring him to the elders at the gate of his town. 20 They shall say to the elders, “This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious. He will not obey us. He is a glutton and a drunkard.” 21 Then all the men of his town are to stone him to death. You must purge the evil from among you. All Israel will hear of it and be afraid.
نا فرمان بیٹا
18 “کسی آدمی کا ایسا بیٹا ہو سکتا ہے جو ضدّی ہو اور فرمانبردار نہ ہو یہ بیٹا اپنے ماں باپ کی مرضی کے مطا بق نہ چلتا ہو ماں باپ اسے سزا دیتے ہیں لیکن بیٹا پھر بھی ان کی کچھ نہیں سنتا۔ 19 اس کے ماں باپ کو اسے شہر کی بیٹھک وا لی جگہ پر شہر کے قائدین کے پاس لیجانا چا ہئے۔ 20 انہیں شہر کے قائدین سے کہنا چا ہئے : ’ ہما را بیٹا ضدّی ہے اور ہما رے حکم نہیں مانتا وہ کو ئی کام نہیں کرتا جسے ہم کرنے کے لئے کہتے ہیں۔ وہ بہت زیادہ کھانا کھا تا اور بہت زیادہ شراب پیتا ہے۔‘ 21 تب شہر کے لوگوں کو اس بیٹے کو پتھروں سے مارڈالنا چا ہئے ایسا کرکے اپنے میں سے ایک بُرا ئی کو ختم کرو گے سبھی بنی اسرا ئیل سُنیں گے اور ڈریں گے۔
My point of view about above verses
If your son is stubborn and rebellious and does not listen to his father and mother when they discipline him – His father and mother shall bring him to elders and tell them about him. Then all the men of his town are stone him to death and by this way eliminate evil among you – then Israelites will be afraid when they hear such things
These verses shows how God create fears so that people avoid doing bad things - and how important it is in eyes of God to keep your children especially sons on right track
May God give us wisdom to understand his word and apply it in our lives
